Kajian Nilai Filosofis dan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam Novel "Kembali ke Desa" Karya Tri Budhi Sastrio

Abstract

This article discusses the study of philosophical values and the value of character education in the Novel Back to the Village by Tri Budhi Sastrio. The purpose of this study was to determine the philosophical study and the value of character education in the Novel Back to Desa Karya Tri Budhi Sastrio.

The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The data source for this research is the novel Back to the Village by Tri Budhi Sastrio Published by C.V Jejak Publisher in 2018. The data collection methods used are literature, reading, and taking notes. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and content analysis to find the philosophical values and character education values in the novel Back to the Karya Tri Budhi Sastrio.

Based on the results of the data analysis of the study of philosophical values and the value of character education in the novel Back to the Village by Tri Budhi Sastrio, it is shown through the words, actions, and conversations between the characters Putu Larasati and Mayor Hoffman about the study of the philosophical values of life that the character Putu Larasati wants to return to the village does not want to live at Tangsi with Major Hoffman, 

loyalty and firm commitment that the character Putu Larasati remains loyal and steadfast to her dead husband Captain Robert van Eyk, and humbled that the character Putu Larasati as an indigenous girl remains humble and polite to Major and the value of character education The value of creative character education is that Putu Larasati continues to learn to memorize and use Dutch with her husband, Captain Robert van Eyk. 

The value of character education is fond of reading that Putu Larasati's character apart from writing short stories, Putu Larasati also likes to read, especially rereading his own creations. And responsible character education that Putu Larasati is full of responsibility to represent his family to defend the rights of his parents who were forced to pay taxes by Dutch agents.
