The Epistemology of Maqbul Hadith by Al-Ghazaly

The town hall of the American Muslim scholars AlGhazaly can be substituted as the second source of hadith law after the Quran. Looking from the narrator's narration, AlGhazaly divided the narrators into 2 categories, namely:

Mutawatir Hadith Mutawatir 

As a language, isim fail tawatur means that attatabu is an outfit. In terms of hadith scholars, muttawatir is a hadith widely followed by its hadith of infallibility. [Mahmud At Hold: 1979: 18]. 

 AlGhazaly does not give definition of Muttawatir hadith but gives 4 conditions to complete Muttawatir hadith: 

 a) Issued on the basis of belief, without presumption. enough for the body, the narrator's stake is counted at one tier, if the cleric khalaf descends from the clerical salaf, at the same period but unsatisfactory, each generation is different from the others. 

 b) Minimum standard of hadith storytellers 

 AlGhazaly in question hadith mutawatir does not specify a minimum number of hadith storytellers to be used as a requirement, but hadith storytellers must be polysemy and based tradition where it is impossible to say '"they can lie.[AlGazaly: II: tt:138] 

 From the above description, it can be concluded that the hadith mutawwatir according to AlGhazaly is a hadith spread by many according to the custom of them who cannot accept The lies that Al Ghazaly did do not specify the number of narrators, but enough if the hadith is narrated by many people and feels that they do not agree to lie, then the hadith is called hadith mutatawatir.Ahad Hadith 

Ahad word is many from one is one. Khabar wahid is khabar delivered by one person. Al-Ghazaly gives definition ahad hadith, know that we meant with khabar ahad into this spoke is hadith not until degree mutawatir hadith the result believeness. [Al-Gazaly: II: t.t: 145] 

Hadith which delivered by five or six person is included into ahad hadith. As for practicing ahad hadith is an obligation because there is sure dalil which requires practice when there is zan (supposition) that toward to rightness. AlGhazaly says that ahad hadith can be practiced. 

In moeslem khazanah many hadith spread more than less one hundred books contents hadists- rasullulah saw, although no all can made as hujjah or dalil into fixed one law. Moeslem teachers has choosen which hadith accepted as law dalil and rejected. In Hadith knowledge terms there are maqbul hadith(accepted) and hadith mardud(rejected) the following this research say maqbul theory hadist according Al-Ghazaly view:
