AbstrakÂ
Community education, which functions as an alternative to formal education, provides opportunities for individuals who are unable to complete formal education to gain new skills and improve their quality of life. One of the challenges in this education is developing English language skills, particularly speaking skills, which are often underemphasized in non-formal education institutions such as Community Learning Centers (PKBM). This article aims to develop and evaluate an English language learning program designed to improve the speaking skills of learners in the Kejar Paket C program at PKBM Siak Permai. This research uses qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the, study show a significant increase in learners' speaking skills after participating in the program. These findings highlight the importance of a more communicative approach to English language teaching in community education.
