6. Past Continuous Tense

Past continuous tense merupakan bentuk tense untuk menceritakan kejadian yang sedang terjadi di masa lampau. Namun, past continuous tense juga dapat digunakan untuk menceritakan dua kejadian yang sedang terjadi bersamaan di masa lampau. Rumusnya yakni:

(+) Subject + was/were + V+ing + Object

Contoh kalimat: I was washing the dishes when my mother is cooking

(-) Subject +was/were + Not + V+ing + Object
