This article discusses a comparison between two systems of government, namely authoritarianismÂ
and democracy, which have different approaches to managing the country. Authoritarianism isÂ
known for its quick and centralized decision-making, while democracy emphasizes publicÂ
participation and respect for human rights. The research was conducted using the literature studyÂ
method to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each system, as well as their impact onÂ
political, economic, and social stability. The conclusion shows that while both systems haveÂ
strengths and weaknesses, the blend of the best values of the two can create an effectiveÂ
government that is oriented to the needs of society.
