Sleep is something to rest the body, usually the body needs rest to recover from fatigue and form an energy. If we don't sleep, chances are that our body, especially the eyes, will get tired and reddened quickly. Therefore why sleep is very important for everyday life. But sleep also has its time, we must not lack sleep or overdo it. At the age of 12-18 years, more precisely in adolescents, sleep should be done 8-9 hours, as well as at the age of 18-40 for adults need 7-8 hours of sleep every day. Good sleep should be done with time as previously explained. And now I want to explain why we should not oversleep.

The reason why we should not oversleep.

Sleep is very important for our bodies, but it does not rule out sleep can cause disease if we overdo it. Here are some factors if we do it excessively:

1. Heart Disease Risk

As explained earlier, adequate sleep time is around 8-9 hours for teenagers, and 7-8 hours for adults. If done around 9-11 hours especially in women, the risk of coronary heart disease is 38% higher.

2. Depression

Previously there was some evidence that 15% of people experience stress and depression due to excessive sleep every day. Because sleep is very influential also for physical and mental health, therefore sleep has an application of time.

3. Diabetes

Metabolic processes are strongly associated with sleep, according to several study programs, excessive and deficient sleep also has a high impact on the risk of diabetes.

4. Have A Headache

When we sleep, our bodies don't get fluids for more than 12 hours, so if we sleep toou much, we can become dehydrated and wake up with headaches due to lack of fluids.

5. Obesity

A study revealed that if you sleep too much, the body stores a lot of fat and the chances of reducing this fat level are very small, this is what can cause the risk of obesity.

So what are the tips for getting enough sleep?

1. Reduce the use of smartphones, because smartphones are very influential for the eyes.

2. Try to make a sleep schedule, so that our sleep time becomes regular.

3. Adequate naps. Because if you sleep less during the day, it can cause your night time to be excessive and irregular.

4. Avoid drinks that contain caffeine and alcohol.

5. Last but not least is do regular exercise in daily life.

So the conclusion is to keep sleeping with enough time and apply the tips previously explained, I'm sure the tips above can help all readers. Thank you and don't forget to sleep.
