Let Me Go

The river whispers to the sky,
Softly weaving stories as it goes,
Through every bend, let it flow.
The current hums a quiet song,
It knows not what lies beyond,
Release my soul, let me go.

The leaves fall gently from the trees,
Dancing as the wind takes hold,
Guided by its breath, let it flow.
Though their journey seems uncertain,
They trust the rhythm of the air,
Set me free, let me go.

The stars shimmer in the midnight sea,
Anchored by nothing but their glow,
Falling into eternity, let it flow.
Their light may fade into the void,
Yet their essence lingers on,
In their peace, let me go.

The seasons change with patient grace,
A cycle endless, yet unknown,
Time unfolds its mysteries, let it flow.
Even the snow must melt to water,
Giving life to what lies beneath,
From this weight, let me go.

The ocean swells beneath the moon,
Its tides pulled by celestial force,
Drawn to its calling, let it flow.
Though restless waves may crash ashore,
They bow to something greater still,
To the deep, let me go.

The clouds drift through an open sky,
No borders bind their endless path,
Freely they wander, let it flow.
Even as storms may tear them apart,
They find their form once again,
To the heavens, let me go.

The fire burns with a fierce resolve,
Consuming what it cannot hold,
Its hunger relentless, let it flow.
But ashes rise where flames once stood,
A cycle born of destruction and creation,
From the embers, let me go.

The mountain stands through endless time,
Its peaks embrace the fleeting snow,
What it bears, let it flow.
Though winds may carve its steadfast face,
It yields with grace to nature's will,
From its heights, let me go.

The forest whispers in sacred tones,
A symphony of roots and leaves,
In its breath, let it flow.
Each tree surrenders to the earth,
Returning all it ever borrowed,
To the soil, let me go.

The sun will rise, the sun will set,
Its glow a promise for the morrow,
Through its warmth, let it flow.
Though shadows stretch and darkness falls,
They too dissolve in morning’s light,
From its fire, let me go.

The river bends, the river breaks,
Its path unknown yet ever true,
Through its course, let it flow.
No rock can stop its steady will,
It shapes the world with patient hands,

The moonlight kisses the restless sea,
Their love a dance of ebb and flow,
In their rhythm, let it flow.
Though distance separates their touch,
Their bond endures across the night,
In their unity, let me go.

Though fear may rise with the unknown,
