With the help of the facilitators and other participants, they learned about the power of forgiveness and the healing it brings. They practiced forgiveness meditations and wrote letters to each other, expressing their regrets and asking for forgiveness.
Slowly, they began to open up to each other and share their experiences. They talked about their hopes and dreams, and the things that had driven them apart. As they spoke, they began to understand each other's perspective and find common ground.
Finally, they were able to sit down and have an honest conversation. They listened to each other's apologies and forgave each other. They hugged and cried, releasing all the pent-up emotions that had been holding them back.
As they left the retreat, they felt lighter and more at peace than they had in a long time. They realized that forgiveness was not just about letting go of the past, but also about moving forward with love and compassion.
They returned to their lives with a renewed sense of purpose and a commitment to spreading the message of forgiveness and healing. They knew that the journey was not over, and that they would continue to work on their friendship and inspire others to do the same.

The group consisted of four people: Maya, a Black woman from the United States; Carlos, a Hispanic man from Mexico; Tariq, a Muslim man from Saudi Arabia; and Leila, a Jewish woman from Israel.Â

Despite their vastly different backgrounds, they found common ground in their desire for a world where everyone was treated with dignity and respect. They decided to meet regularly to share their experiences, offer each other support, and discuss ways to make a positive impact on the world.
