"Today is a new day and a new opportunity."
3. Know your triggers.
Pay attention to what affects your thinking. I personally sat down and wrote everything I believed to trigger my negativity and then did something about it. You can stayed away from them who no good to your thinking, distract yourself, watch a funny video, and play a video game.
4. Find a trustful person.
It can be a friend, partner, parent, or teacher. Anyone who is willing to listen to you and give you their point of view. This has helps diminish your negative thoughts.
5. Self talk using a mirror.
This one may be silly. But you can try it, I have the confidence to overcome stressful thoughts.
Look at yourself in the mirror, and tell yourself good things like: "I am beautiful" or "It will all be okay." You may find it powerful to look yourself in the eyes and have a good talk.
6. Don't apply your perspectives to someone else.
This one is very important. Each of us has different perspectives and ways of handling situations. If you can change your perspectives, you will be able to relax more.
Keep in mind that your thinking won't change quickly. It will take time and discipline. If you feel like your mental health is getting worse due to negative thoughts, then maybe a counselor or therapist can help you as well.
