In Australia
Australia, in Australia
I want to fly and run till it hurts
Sleep for a while and speak no words in Australia
In Australia
In Australia

on the first verse the writer tells us about his condition that seems to be unwell, he doesn't know if he's tired or ill, i pictured him looking at the mirror and checking out on himself, and see that his cheeks are turning yellow, perhaps it's one way of saying pale. this describe a state of exhausted or even fatigue. this verse explain about his physical condition.
on the second verse the writer explore more about how he feels, his emotion. he is hoping for the wave to came, that must have been the fifteenth time. this line explain how he is waiting for something new to come, to change even to erase, just like the wave did on the shore, the things that he used to have, in his memories, what he had been experienced before that lead him to the condition that he explained before on the first verse. the writer affirmed his weariness on the next line by saying that he's been on that particular point for too long, which is his past that he own. this line shows that the writer is fully understand and realize that once you had something, that once you had experience an incident or events in your life, you can never really put them away. yes you can put them aside, but definitely not erase it permanently.
so that will lead us to the third verse, the refrain, my most favorite part haha ... and of course the climax, the main idea that the writer wants to say.
