·Formal Education

On 1 November 1927 set as the day of the birth of the first schools in the Slide. The first formal education was established by the Government of the Netherlands with the name "Volkschool UZV" by the number of pupils 26 people. According to historical records,  Pastor E. Osok became the first student, the school construction lasted until 1942.

The formal education for Moi in Sorong before 1970 is still very slow, generally only the elementary school level. Even many who drop out of school so they are left out of other tribes. But until the late 1980's to the present, many generations Moi Tribe who graduated from higher formal education either Postgraduate, Master degree until Doctoral.

·The Teacher–Student Relationship

The relationship between teacher and students in Moi Tribe, it’s not much difference from formal education because not only occurs at the moment is carrying out duties or during provision of educational process. Even if a teacher has not thought at Kambik, but the inner relationship between teacher and students are still relatively strong and awake and the students kept trying to run everything his teacher thought.
