The conflict in Palestine has become one of the most sensitive and controversial issues in the world, especially for Muslims. The genocide that took place in Palestine has elicited a strong reaction and response from Muslims around the world. In this context, political culture refers to the values, beliefs, and normal that influence how individuals or groups respond to political issues. In the case of the genocide in Palestine. The political culture of Mulus dan be influenced by a variety of factors, including history, religion, identity, and political views. The history of the perception of Muslims on the issue. Genocide in Palestine, which refers to systematic acts of violence and mass murder against the Palestinian people, has become a very controversial and sensitive issue. This conflict has been going on for decades and involves a wide range of political actors, both from the local and international levels. One interesting aspect to analyze is how political culture influence the response of Muslims communities to this genocide. Political culture here refers to the political values, attitudes, and behaviors the are inherited in a community and how they shape responses to pressing political issues. The solidarity of Muslims as a religious community can strengthen the response to the violence that occurred in Palestine.

Political views also affect how Muslims respond to the genocide in Palestine, where the politic orientation adobted can influence attitudes towards the conflict. In the era of globalization and information technology, social media also olays an important role in shoping the opinions and responses of Muslims to the conflict in Palestine. Information and images presented through social media can influence the perception and attitude of Muslims towards the genovide that occurred in Palestine. Thus, the influence of political culture on Muslims response to the genocide in Palestine is very complex and involves a variety of factors. Understanding how political culture influences the attitudes and actions of Muslims in dealing with the conflict in Palestine can help in finding peaceful and just solutions for the Palestinian people who continue to suffer from the protracted conflict.

The political culture in the Muslim world is very diverse, reflecting historical, geographical, and socioeconomic differences among Muslim-majority countries. However, there are some common characteristics that can be identified:

1.  Political Response

At the political level, Muslim-majority countries often show strong solidarity with the Palestinians. For example, in various international forums such as the United Nations (UN), these countries have consistently supported resolutions condemning Israel's actions and calling for protection for the Palestinian people. Another example is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which regularly meets to discuss the situation in Palestine and look for ways to provide further support.

However, this political response is not always uniform. Some Muslim countries, due to political pressure or economic interests, may take a more moderate stance or even support Israel's policies implicitly. For example, some Gulf states have normalized relations with Israel in recent years, although they remain verbally supportive of Palestinian rights.

2. Social Response

At the social level, Muslim communities in various countries show solidarity through demonstrations, awareness campaigns, and fundraising. For example, during the major attacks in Gaza, large protests often occurred in major cities in the Muslim world. Civil society organizations and NGOs also play a critical role in disseminating information, organizing humanitarian aid, and documenting human rights violations.

Social media is also an important tool in social mobilization. Platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram are used to spread the word, rally support, and organize solidarity actions. Hashtags such as #SavePalestine and #FreeGaza are often trending during conflict escalation.

3. Religious Response

At the religious level, clerics and religious leaders often issue statements and fatwas calling for solidarity with the Palestinians. They use mosque pulpits to deliver sermons condemning violence and calling on Muslims to help their brothers and sisters in Palestine. During the month of Ramadan, which is an important time for alms and charity, many fundraising campaigns are organized to support the Palestinian people.

Several religious organizations are also directly involved in providing humanitarian assistance. For example, zakat and waqf institutions raise funds from Muslims around the world to support humanitarian projects in Palestine, including the provision of food, medicine, and infrastructure development.

There are several factors that influence how political culture shapes the Muslim community's response to the genocide in Palestine:

1. Domestic Policy

A country's domestic politics can greatly influence the response to the genocide in Palestine. In some countries, the government may support the Palestinian struggle to strengthen domestic support and gain legitimacy from its people. In other countries, where governments have close diplomatic or economic ties with Western countries or Israel, the response may be more cautious or even silent.

2. Global Influence

Global influence also plays an important role. Global campaigns for Palestinian rights are often followed by Muslim communities, especially in countries with greater freedom of expression. On the other hand, international pressure from powerful countries such as the United States could limit the extent to which Muslim countries dare to express their support openly.

3. Media and Information

Access to information and media also affects responses. In this digital age, information about the situation in Palestine can quickly spread around the world, mobilizing support and solidarity. However, government-run media in some countries may censor certain information, limiting public awareness and response.

4. Economic Factors

Economic factors also cannot be ignored. Countries that depend on economic aid from Western countries or have close trade relations with Israel may be more reluctant to take a tough stance against the genocide in Palestine. On the other hand, countries with more self-reliant economic strength may be bolder to show firm support.

While there have been many efforts by the Muslim community to support the Palestinian people, there are also many challenges that must be faced:

1. Limitations of Political Influence

Although support from Muslim countries is often vocal in international forums, their political influence is often limited. UN resolutions in favor of Palestine are often ignored or vetoed by powerful countries such as the United States.

2. Internal Fragmentation

In the Muslim world itself, there is fragmentation and division that can weaken joint efforts. Sectarian conflicts, political strife, and national interests often hamper collective efforts to support Palestine.

3. International Pressure

Pressure from powerful countries and international organizations could limit the ability of Muslim countries to support Palestine effectively. Economic sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and military threats are some of the forms of pressure that are often faced.

Political culture plays a very important role in shaping the Muslim community's response to the genocide in Palestine. Strong religious identity, the influence of clerics, the principles of solidarity and justice, and a history of anti-colonialism and anti-imperialism all contribute to strong solidarity with the Palestinian people. However, this response is also influenced by factors such as domestic politics, global influence, media and information, and economic factors. Despite the many challenges, solidarity and support from the Muslim community remain an important force in the struggle for justice in Palestine.
