Looking out the window, there are alot of high rises building and busy traffic down the roads under the beautiful blue sky and sunny morning. She walked back and forth in her opulent office, which was located at the largest commerce building in the country. Then, she decided to sit down behind the desk and rest her shoulder on her chair. She did some slow breathing, so she wouldn't hyperventilate and looked nervous. Over and over she looking at the computer's screen with pride on her face and tried to ignore the fact that her heart was beating double-time.
Her thought went back to the incident which was happen ten years ago. One night during her friend's 19th birthday party, her boy friend intentionally dumped her in the middle of the party. He made an announcement that he had a relationship with the birthday girl. That night she left the party with broken hearted and spent three awkward months in campus before she moved overseas to live with her cousin.
The mourns that she brought with her to the new land was not last for long. Time had gone very quick and life lend her a good job opportunity. At the age of 29 she has became a director of an oil company and the advantage for business traveling around Asia and Europe was unquestionable.
Suddenly the intercom rang and stoped her from her traveling to the past. "Yes, send him in please" she answered her secretary. Few minutes later, a tall young man in his thirties appeared from the door.
"Good morning, may I come in Mam" he greeted her with polite smile and confident voice.
"Yes, Good morning, Mr. Harry. My name is Anita and I've read your CV from my human resource consultant. Lets get to the point, the reason why you are on my short listed is that I think I know you"
"Am I fit to your requirement, Mam?"
"Yup, definetely. You are smart, young and you have the experience and ability that our company needed" Anita answered and rose from her chair.
"May, I ask something about your company policy?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Harry. You are not here to be an interviewer but I am and I'll ask you to speak when I needed. Well, Mr. Harry do you really can't regocognize me?"
"I'm afraid, I'm not Mam. I've been meeting alot of women and being interviewed by women bosses many times. I think this is my first time to come to your company and meeting you"
