what about the candles that dance in the middle of the night

waiting for him to blow out with the light as the year gets older

the year at 00.00 which simultaneously changes a new page between them

does he stilll want to remember that dark night

when he knows the light has run far before him

the light that is hit by the waves before it reaches him 

does he still want to remember that he will keep light by his side

does he still want to remember the outstretched hand that night?

and now, does he not realize that the light is fading away?
