A state of reluctance emerges to expose how every violation of human rights in Indonesia remains visible, ousting the voice of minorities and allowing the majority in religion, ethnic, and sexual orientation to take control without any comprehensive solutions, mostly from the government apparatus. Before the closing of 2017, remembering the Indonesian President's promise to overcome most of human rights issues, the state still is facing a series of existing obstacles, and obviously no need of an array of new regulations is on the set-up. It is believed that the state's regulations have sufficiently lodged various interests of societies coming from different backgrounds of ethnics, religions, social, and economy.Â
The human rights accomplishment actually should have stood as a milestone for the state to show their seriousness for bracing human rights issues, moreover it gained international attention. Then, are all of us well prepared to overcome the year's human rights issues and welcome the new ones in the following year?
