Two Words

One day on a beautiful full moon night, a bird flew over the Wonosari Royal Palace which was welcoming the new born second son of King Wijaya. At that time Kumara, the wife of King Wijaya, gave birth to her second child on a full moon night. This bird is not an ordinary bird, but the bird comes from the Lentera which is carrying out its mission on the orders of the Queen. Lentera is the kingdom of a witch family led by Kanjeng Ratu Nyai Buyung, this kingdom was formed because a family of witches was exiled and expelled from Wonosari because King Wijaya considered it disturbing. Because they always opposed the King's orders and rebelled by rioting in the kingdom which caused them to be expelled from Wonosari.

 

The bird flew around and hurried back to the Lentera, then the bird landed at the window of a dark room and approached the Queen who was sitting on her throne.

Queen: "what made you come back quickly, Old Lady?"

Then the bird suddenly changed into a creepy old woman, then she said:

Old Woman: "I bring good or bad news for you Mother." While laughing hideously.

Queen: "if it's not about Wonosari, go away... don't bother me or I'll behead you again."

Old Woman: "hahahahaha" guffawed in a sinister tone. "You will regret it if you don't listen to me" while turning around and boasting.

Queen: sighed and said "well hurry up, tell me."

Old Woman: "Wonosari has a new candidate for crown prince"

Queen: "what do you mean?"

Old Woman: "Kumara has given birth to a son. Did the spell you used fail?"

Queen: "what..??" The queen was very surprised by the angry look on her face and stood up from her throne. "that's very impossible... I already cursed her so that she won't give birth to a boy, there's no way my spelling was wrong." With a confused look on his face. "well then, I won't stay silent."

Old Woman: "what are you going to do?"

Queen: "There is no other choice... I will attack Wonosari tonight. I want you to prepare the troops as soon as possible

The King approached Kumara with Raden Radya in the room where Kumara gave birth, he walked with a happy face after being welcomed in by the midwife. After he entered he said "I already guessed our baby is a boy." He said that with a very happy feeling.

Kumara: "How do you know that our baby is a boy? Even though the midwife hasn't told you yet, has she?"

King Wijaya: "from his crying... from his crying alone it is very clear he is a man... hahaha.." while turning to Radyan and saying "isn't it Radyan?" And Radyan replied "yes father" with a smile.

Kumara: "what do you think honey? Isn't he very handsome just like you and Radyan "

King Wijaya: "yes... he is very handsome like me and Radya, but his eyebrows and lips are similar to yours Kumara, not only handsome he also looks cute." while smiling and kissing the baby.

Kumara: "Hmmm what do you think would be a good name for him?"

King Wijaya: "You take it easy honey... I've thought about it long before this baby was born. I will name this baby Ra..." Suddenly the sound of thousands of crows came and circled above the Palace which made everyone in the palace suddenly silent and confused.

 

Then the Marhapatih who stood guard at the door of the palace said "this is not a good sign." Then an explosion sounded near the entrance to Wonosari. Then Marhapatih Meda rushed to gather troops and distribute them to both sides.

Marhapatih Meda: "Captain Arjuna!!! I want you to take some of the troops near the entrance to Wonosari. I have to stay on guard here to protect the King."

Captain Arjuna: he said firmly "ready Patih Meda !!. I will bring the troops near the entrance."

Marhapatih Meda: "well you be careful. No matter what happens you must survive Captain.... Defend Wonosari as best you can." Captain Arjuna nodded his head with a face full of confidence. Then Patih Meda rushed to the King to report what happened.

 

Raden Radya: "what's wrong dad?"

Kumara: "honey.. did you hear that?" The king heard it and replied "yes.. I heard it."

Kumara: "You remember this sound?? It's like the voice of the Witch Queen. you have to hurry for cover... take Raden and this baby quickly!!. Leave me.. I'm fine."

King Wijaya: "Are you crazy??? There's no way I could do that. I don't want to leave without you Kumara."

Kumara: "I said I'm fine.. leave me. How can I walk?? Just waking up I'm hard... you know that... I just gave birth."

 

Then Patih Meda knocked on the door and said "Your Highness, are you still inside?" And the King replied "yes I'm still inside... come in". Then Patih Meda came in and opened the door slowly. Then the King asked "what's up Meda?".

Not long after Raden left the palace, the old woman found The King and Patih Meda standing guard at the door of the delivery room. The old woman approached him in the form of a bird and then suddenly changed to her original form in front of King Wijaya and Patih Meda.

Because King Wijaya's decision seemed like favoritism, he only cared about the rich villages and distributed food only to that village and most of it was hoarded in the kingdom for reasons of stock at the Palace, even though the stock at the Palace was still sufficient for the next 2 years and food -the food he gets is from poor villages that really worship the King and this poor village only gets 10 percent of the food from his crops. After hearing this unpleasant news, Adya immediately went to his father who was at his throne and what happened was:

Raden Adya: "father...!!! if you continue like this .. I'd better just leave the palace". With a very annoyed face. "You should be ashamed father... the people you betrayed were people who really trusted you, they unhesitatingly gave their full harvest to you.. they respected and trusted you as a King to organize and give to those in need, not just to those who are rich ...".

King Wijaya: "You don't know anything son, I'm doing this for Wonosari... we have to quickly complete the construction that is still being built today, do you think building is free?" while speaking with cold eyes. Adipati Bima said in his heart "what's wrong with him??? Does he want to mess up again? Hmmm..." with a confused face. "Usually the child scolds me wherever we meet." Bima then continued his journey to the Palace on foot. Suddenly Adya came back and shouted "uncle!!!". Suddenly the scream made Bima startled and turned around.

Adipati Bima: "uwahhh!!!" very surprised. "What's wrong Raden?? You just surprised me hufhhhh.."

Raden Adya: approached Bima and said hastily "uncle... do you know where the magician is???"

Adipati Bima: "what are you suddenly asking that?"

Raden Adya: "Just say it fast...!!!" by yelling at Bima.

Adipati Bima: "Hmmm... to be honest I don't know much about it. But the crow is a sign of their presence. What is it..?? you want to find it?? Hahahaha..." laughed but not seriously.

Raden Adya: "hmmm crows... okay." Adya immediately left Bima and rode his horse quickly, Adya only brought arrows and a few bows.

Adipati Bima: "does he really want to find the witch??? I, who is stronger than him, don't want to look for him." With a face full of confusion.

Bima immediately went to the Palace and entered the room to meet the King who was on his throne. After he entered he saw the King staring and confused.

Naharayu's body is getting more and more hideous and he looks even more old with scary wrinkles all over her body, her hair is all white and slowly a strand of hair is falling from her head every hour, this is because the spell she did failed many years ago. She was always wincing, screaming, and crying. To cover her body she wore a robe that covered her whole body, and her face was covered like a thin cloth.

Ratna: "yayu, never mind... you have to accept it. I'm sick of seeing you like this every night."

Naharayu: wept bitterly. "what should I do?? Even you who are much older than me are not as bad as this body of mine."

Ratna: "if you don't want to live with a body like that... you have to do the ritual as soon as possible. You must move your soul."

After going far from Wonosari and also passing through the forests, Adya stopped and got off his horse, he sat on a large tree trunk that was on the ground, he stopped to rest. While drinking Adya said to himself "I have gone far enough, but there is no sign of the witch yet." Suddenly there was a flock of crows flying towards the south. "hah?? What's that?? what is a crow??? Yes, that's right it's a crow... I have to quickly follow it."

 

Adya kept following the bird for several minutes, until one day his horse tripped and fell, and Adya was thrown off the horse. "what's wrong with you horse?" Adya approached the horse. Raden Adya: "no... I'm an ordinary person." He said that confidently and arrogantly. "Shouldn't ordinary people wear clothes covered in gold?"

Suddenly there was the sound of a lion roaring and Adya was very surprised "woaahh.... What's that??" while getting ready to shoot with his arrow. "I have to quickly get out of here ...".

 

Adya ran very fast to avoid the attack from the mysterious creature. Adya had run very far from where he found the body, but the creature kept stalking him, even though Adya had not seen the figure of the creature, he kept running because he was panicking. But Adya couldn't keep running, she was very tired. And finally he stopped and decided to fight the creature.

Raden Adya: "wait... I'm carrying an arrow, why should I run away??. Well.. whatever your form is, I will not be afraid of you". He said it confidently.

After he prepared to shoot his bow in the direction where the voice came from and what happened was:

The king fell and lay limp, Naharayu laughed with his trademark, namely with a grin. Naharayu thought she had won, seeing King Wijaya lying down and unable to do anything, Naharayu intended to stick his sword into King Wijaya. But when she was pointing the sword at King Wijaya, King Wijaya said "kill me Kumara" suddenly hearing that voice Kumara woke up and immediately took over her body again.

Rara: "Did he manage to come to his senses??

Rara approached Adya.

Kumara: "what am I doing?? where am I? while looking around.

Finally Kumara fainted due to her weak body after successfully taking over her body.

Raden Adya: "mother... father..." he ran up to him. "Dad are you okay?"

King Wijaya: "Im okay, you better check on your mother" while wincing in pain.

Then Adipati Bima came after the battle, he approached the King.

Adipati Bima: "Your majesty... are you okay?? Look at your glorious body."

King Wijaya: "I'm fine, don't worry. Are you hurt??"

Adipati Bima: "I'm fine, your majesty"

King Wijaya: "I ask to stop this battle."

Adipati Bima: "alright, your majesty".  then Bima shouted "hey everyone!!! Stop it...!!"

Then all the soldiers stopped fighting even though many had died from both sides.

 

King Wijaya finally admitted his mistake, he apologized to all the magicians at the end of his breath for his actions. Kumara was still lying limp and unconscious. Adya cried seeing her father's body slowly turning to ashes, there was no way to stop it. Rara could only be silent watching all this happen, she tried to calm Adyan.

 

1 week after the incident, Lentera is now under the Wonosari government. Adya, who was previously the crown prince, now becomes king to replace his father who died. Under Adya's rule, the wizarding family was finally able to return to Wonosari, now Wonosari will equip all his troops with magic for a better purpose, and also so that it won't be misused. Rara remained by Adya's side, Rara became a very beautiful empress in Wonosari, she became the most beautiful woman in Wonosari. Adya and Rara immediately held a wedding after their mother realized. Kumara is still being treated at Bhadra.

After 2 weeks, Adya gets news from Bhadra that her mother has regained consciousness. Adya immediately left the Palace with Rara, Adya and Rara headed to Bhadra using a golden carriage and was escorted by troops led by Adipati Bima. Arriving at Bhadra:

King Adya: "mother, how is your condition?" while holding his mother's hands.

During his reign, Wonosari had many new temples, one of which was Darsana Temple (to symbolize a virtuous person), Darsuki Temple (to symbolize peace), and Donahue Temple (meaning a tough warrior) to honor the services of Wonosari soldiers who died in their duties .

Adya and Rara lived as a royal family, and were accompanied by Kumara as advisors. Now Adya is highly respected in Wonosari, having previously been trampled on in Wonosari but he has proven himself to be a good leader for the people of Wonosari. Adya became a leader who was loved by his people. To commemorate everything that happened, Wonosari made an inscription as a document and a form of honoring history.
