Two Words

 

To encourage himself, Adya continued to visit the Dewananda Temple. He went from the Palace on a horse to the temple. On the way, Adya met a group of soldiers who were shooting crows flying over the kingdom. Adya slowed down his horse while thinking and saying to himself "why don't these animals ever become extinct" and Adya approached the soldiers and saw lots of dead crows that fell and lay on the ground, Adya said "heyy.. there are so many of these birds, even I've never dropped it this much. What is it for??" the soldier answered while lowering his head "for nothing prince... we were indeed assigned to hunt these birds." And Adya replied "assigned?? Why is that??" the soldiers were confused and said:

Soldier: "Don't you already know the reason prince?? Why are you still asking??"

Raden Adya: "no.. I don't know the reason. What's the reason?"

Soldier: "I think His Majesty has told you about this." While being astonished by the other soldiers."

Raden Adya: "Okay, forget it... I'll go first."

Soldier: "alright, prince. be careful on the road."

Then Adya spurred her horse and while thinking on the way about the birds and said "huffhh... what's wrong with those birds? Why did everyone in Wonosari kill them? I thought all this time my father told me to kill him just to practice it... turns out there was a reason behind it. Does this have anything to do with that witch story??"

After returning from the temple, Adya visited the graves of his mother and sister. The graves did not contain human bodies, but only the ashes, because in Wonosari everyone who died would be burned. The tomb is at the foot of the mountain and under the shade of trees so it feels cool when you come there. In the tomb there is a stone that is quite large and has the names Wijaya Kumara Radyaputra and Kumara Sri Rahayu engraved on it.

 

Adya immediately got off his horse and tied the horse to a tree while feeding the horse. He said "sister... mother... how are you doing there?? Are you all right???" while sprinkling flowers on the two graves. "I haven't had the chance to meet you guys... but fate separated us like this. I heard it's all my fault... people say I should have been born a girl... not a boy." He said that while smiling. "Mom, you should just change me into a girl... surely I will look beautiful like you. I really miss you mom.. all this time I see your face only from a painting." Then Adya left the tomb and returned to the Palace.
