a. Scheduled activities must be postponed.
b. The inhibition of direct contact and communication between communities.
c. Economic downturn.[6]
d. The cessation of community routines in various fields, for example in the religious field, is temporarily eliminating tahlil, recitations, and other activities that involve many people.

4. The Covid-19 Pandemic Against the Tahlil Tradition of the Purwojati Hamlet
The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the tahlil tradition that is usually practiced by Muslims in Indonesia, including the Purwojati Hamlet community in Dukuh Dempok Village, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. Tahlil which is usually held every Friday night after maghrib must be temporarily suspended. This is done to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. In addition, the temporary abolition of tahlil also aims to avoid crowds, direct contact and comply with health protocol policies.
