Lauren Booth is a humanitarian peace activist who was born on July 22, 1967. This 54-year-old woman is the sister-in-law of former British prime minister, Tony Blair. Cherie Blair, wife of Tony Blair, is the half-sister of Lauren Booth. His name is widely known by the public after publishing articles in The Mail on Sunday and The New Statesman highlighting the anti-Iraq War demonstrations.

Reporting from allfamous.org, before deciding to study as an activist, Lauren had studied acting. Lauren Booth studied acting at the London Academy of Performing Arts. Several times Lauren has starred in theater shows. After giving up her acting career to deepen journalism, Lauren published "About the City" for the London Evening Standard

In 2010, his name became the world's public spotlight for his decision to become a Muslim. As explained in wisemuslimwomen.org, the decision came when Lauren traveled to Qom, Iran, to be precise while visiting the shrine of Fatima Al-Masumeh. According to him, the experience was a holy experience that gave him guidance to convert to Islam.

As an activist, Lauren Booth actively voices pro-Palestinian. In 2008, Lauren visited Palestine by visiting Gaza to coincide with the blockade imposed by Israel.

Currently, Lauren is an activist and works as a journalist at Press TV, an English-language Iranian news channel. At that time, her decision to convert to Islam received media attention. Therefore, Lauren published an article in The Guardian entitled "Lauren Booth: I'm now a Muslim. Why all the shock and horror?"

Through her social media, Lauren Booth often shares her activities such as avoiding alcohol and reading the Koran.
