Novels and fiction are books that contain stories, their nature tends to be more imaginative presented by writers with various backgrounds and time events. Fiction does not require observation in its making because the idea of the story comes from the imagination or imagination of the author himself.

Although novels, short stories, and fairy tales are fictional stories, the author often adopts certain events and facts or even takes the point of view of one side's daily life and sometimes presents a mystery story. It's just that, the characters and storylines are made more interesting in such a way that readers can get carried away with the storyline created by the author so that the atmosphere is evoked as if it feels like real.

The language used is figurative or connotative language, the reader is forced to enter into the story with unusual language. Fiction is a story or background that comes from imagination. In other words, fiction is not strictly based on history or fact. Fiction can be expressed in a variety of formats ranging from writing, live performances, movies, television shows, animation, video games and also role-playing games. But whether every story always has a strong identity and idealism, because what the story presents is only a mere imagination that is reinforced by storylines and events.

Wellek and Warren (1956:212) a fictional story is a coherent structural building and still has an aesthetic purpose. Alternbernd and Lewis (1966:14) fiction presents the problems of man and humanity, life and life. Abrams (1981:61) fiction is a fictional story or imaginary story as a narrative work that does not suggest a historical truth.

In the fictional storyline often raises about human life that is fictitious or just in the form of author's design. The author's storytelling style is not homogeneous, the author or storyteller does not have to be the speaker, but gives secondary speakers the opportunity to tell stories resulting in continuous dialogue and storyline.

The story presented in fiction is a fictional story, if it has similarities with reality, it is just a coincidence. Fiction is presented in chronological order thus depicting the reader's conflict and curiosity. However, as above, whether the character presented can symbolize a solid identity and idealism, because in some novels the identity and idealism of the character is very far from the human mind.
