Ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference, in December 2015 in Paris, each country was asked to enter the national intention to contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions (INDC). Indonesia targets a 29 percent reduction in emissions from the BAU and 41 percent with foreign assistance.
"We have to make sure how to involve all parties to reduce emissions. Our target is completed this year (INDC)," said Director General of Control Climate Change Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Nur Masripatin.
If Indonesia ratified the Paris Agreement as a reference the world, the government must be approved by Parliament and the execution of the laws.
