During this pandemic, people are certainly more aware of health and obey health protocols, because there are many viruses that have emerged with various variants that can attack children, teenagers, adults and the elderly. Like the Singapore Flu which has recently experienced a high spike in various regions. Singapore flu is a viral infectious disease that can attack infants, toddlers to adults.

Singapore flu is a disease that can spread quickly, but it depends on the immune system of each person. This disease is easily transmitted in crowds such as in public places, malls, playgrounds, swimming pools and other crowded places. Because in a crowd it's not always in a sterile condition, because there must be physical contact such as when using lifts, escalators, playing in the playgorund, we will of course make direct contact with existing objects and take turns with others.

Singapore flu can be transmitted through physical contact, exposure to saliva or droplets either through objects or physically, hugging, shaking hands, skin to skin, talking within less than one meter, sharing eating utensils such as spoons, forks.

Inhaling fluids from the respiratory tract, nose and throat, such as splashes of saliva, sneezing, flu or coughing, Touching fluids from abrasions or rashes on the patient's skin. Touching objects or surfaces that have been exposed to the virus, such as doorknobs or toys, then accidentally touching the face.

Based on personal experience the initial symptoms of the Singapore flu are starting with fever, weakness, not feeling well, no appetite, sore throat, rash or red spots on the skin, or in the mouth these symptoms appear 3 to 7 days after exposure and lasts up to ten to fourteen days.

Although not many people know, we need to prevent being exposed to the Singapore flu. By maintaining cleanliness, diligently washing hands, using masks, using closed clothes so that the body is not touched by objects in public places, keeping a distance, using gloves, diligently changing clothes after traveling, washing clothes that have been used so that viruses or germs die. Make sure the body is well hydrated, consume nutritious food.
