I'm happy. I hold her hand and I just couldn't stop smiling. She stares and smiles back at me. It's my dream comes true. My happy life becomes completely perfect since 5 days ago.

 "Come on, faster faster."

"Ya, Hakyeon-ah, where do you wanna take me to?"

"Don't ask and just follow me!"

I'm pulling her hand while keep running. I'm afraid at the time we arrived at the beach, the water already erase my art on the sand. Can I call it an art? Whatever, but I want her to read it before it is being erased. Since I saw her done with her lecture today, I just pull her into a bus. Her pretty face showed an anxious expression and she's keep on asking me where will I take her to. And I won't answer her. I just wanna let she saw it by herself. 

Because I just can't wait too long. She is quite popular in our university, but still single. Who don't know Park Sojin? This long hair girl with big eyes makes her looks so pretty. Since the first day she enter the university, the news about her beauty is spread just like how the wind blows. And not obvious, as the day passed by, many man confessed to her, and all got rejected. 

Gladly I'm in the same year with her and we usually meet in the class so I can enjoy her pretty face. Usually I won't get so nervous with a girl but I don't know why I got so nervous since I saw her. Jaehwan told me that I might fall in love with her so I get nervous when it comes about her. I keep on thinking about it, and get the courage to talk to her. 

She is a typical of nice girl who can be friend with anyone, but she has no close friends. She could be found going shopping with some girls, but next day she could just going somewhere by herself. And I never realize that talk to her is actually quite easy for me. Then we start to know each other: how I know she likes to go to karaoke every weekend; how she love to dance to some K-Pop songs; her favorite place is beach; and about she can cook well. After two months waiting, I think I should really take a real move to make her mine. And the day is today.

"Beach?" Sojin ask, seems surprised.

"Yes. Your favorite place."

"Wow~"

Sojin is running happily along the beach while I'm finding my "art". I hope it hasn't being erased, I thought I made it around here.

"Sojin-ah, would you come here for a while?"

Sojin is running towards me. I'm grinning and point at the sand beside me. I just made some sentences there.

My mind wanders.

A lot.

And its always finds its way to you.

She even looks more surprised than before.

"Hakyeon-a..."

"Park Sojin, would you accept me as your boyfriend?"

That would be the most brave sentence that ever come out from my mouth. My heart is beating fast while I try to stare on her eyes while confessing to her (Jaehwan said it's important to keep the eye contact to make women trust in you) and I could feel my face is getting red. Suddenly I feel so stupid. 

How come a pretty Sojin will like a person like me? I'm not really handsome like Hongbin; or smart like Taekwoon; or popular like Jaehwan; friendly like Wonshik; and adorable like Sanghyuk. Who am I... or what am I? She already rejected so many men and now, she is going to reject me. I'm not ready yet to being a heart-broken man. But why do I realize it now when it's already too late?

 "Are you really a romantic man? I never know it before," she chuckles.

"I... uhm... I was playing here on the beach and I feel stupid, I don't know what am I thinking about so I..."

She comes forward and put her finger on my lips to make me silent for a second.

"You aren't stupid."

"But I feel stupid now to do it."

"Do you feel stupid because of 'your mind keep wanders to me'?" she asked while slightly pouting.

"I... I don't mean like that!"

"So stop saying you're stupid," she smiles, "you can be my boyfriend, and I wanna become your girlfriend."

"It's........ for real?"

"Do you think I'm kidding right now?" she's laughing slightly while circle her arms around my waist, then resting her head on my chest.

"We are official?"

"Are you a stupid man, Cha Hakyeon?"

And I hug her. The best feeling ever, being with Park Sojin.

"So now we're going to your friend's house?"

"Yes. Today is Sanghyuk's birthday and he held the garden party at his home. Not really a big party since he just invite some close friends," I answered Sojin, "but I guess it will be fun if I bring you along."

"Han Sanghyuk? If I'm not mistaken, he's one of the boy who is always be together with you right?"

"Yes. And with the others, I want you to get to know them."

When we walk near Sanghyuk's house, we meet the cool man Taekwoon, who walk alone while using earphones. He is singing to the song, and he has a really nice voice. He should be a singer than staying in the university, actually.

"Hey Woon!"

"Ah Hakyeon," he pull out one side of his earphone.

"I would like to introduce you to Sojin. Woon, this is Park Sojin; Sojin, this is Jung Taekwoon."

"Pleasure to meet you!" Sojin bow her head to Taekwoon.

"Nice to meet you, Sojin-ssi," so do Taekwoon bow his head to Sojin.

"Let's get in before we're too late for the dinner," I said while lead the way to enter Sanghyuk's house.

Sanghyuk has a quite big house (his parents are rich, everybody knows about that) and he has garden complete with the swimming pool at the back of his house. In here, many people already gathered. Almost all of them are our friends from the university, and some are Sanghyuk's relatives. It's quite easy to find Sanghyuk who is being surrounded by my best friends. I hold Sojin's hand and along with Taekwoon, we walk toward him.

"Happy birthday Sanghyuk!" I congratulate him while giving him warm hug.

"Thanks for coming, Hakyeon hyong and Taekwoon hyong!"

"You're welcome," Taekwoon pats Sanghyuk's shoulder.

"Ah so, Hakyeon hyong, you haven't introduce us to Sojin noona," Wonshik reminds me.

"Ah yes. Sojin, this is my best friends," I said while pointing at them one by one, "Kim Wonshik, Lee Hongbin, Han Sanghyuk and Lee Jaehwan. Guys, this is Park Sojin..."

"Your girlfriend," add Jaehwan that makes us burst into laugh.

"Hello, I'm Park Sojin. Nice to know all of you," Sojin bow his head to them, "and happy birthday Sanghyuk-ssi."

"At first we'd like to apologize," said Hongbin seriously, "because Hakyeon hyong must be a burden to you with his childish act."

"What did you say!"

I do "neck chop" (my most popular weapon) to Hongbin that makes everyone laughing.

"No, Hongbin-ssi, actually he's really good and never be a burden," said Sojin.

"Seriously... he's so noisy til us wanna put him inside a box," said Jaehwan more serious.

"You guys!!!"

"But I bet Sojin must be so in love with Hakyeon, that's why she said he isn't a burden," chuckles Taekwoon.

Taekwoon's words makes the others start to tease us and make us really shy. But I'm happy, as long as Sojin is here.

I open my eyes slowly. The sun that shines through my window makes my eyes a bit hurt. And another pain comes from my head. What's happening?

"Ouch..."

"Hakyeon hyong, are you okay?"

It's Hongbin who sit on my bed. I'm at my apartment. Actually I wanna answer him but I even don't know what happened to me. Hongbin leans closer to rub my head.

"Do you remember? We play basketball this morning and your head got bump to the ball? And then you fall to the ground?" ask Hongbin fast, "do you remember your name?"

"Of course I remember, I'm Cha Hakyeon!" answer me, "but... is that really happen? Then I was fainted?"

Hongbin nod, "yes, that is exactly what happened. You make us so worry. Wonshik said we should take you to hospital but Taekwoon hyong said better we just bring you back and wait for you to become conscious first."

The bell is ringing outside.

"No need to awake, Taekwoon hyong will open the door for us."

"Taekwoon is here?"

"Yes, he is trying to cook porridge to you but I don't know why it took so long to cook it."

"Wait! Did Sojin there to watch us playing basketball this morning?"

I'm shock. I can't be that stupid in front of my girl! Where's my pride?

"No. Gladly, she wasn't there. But Jaehwan said we better tell her, so he called her. Don't get mad," Hongbin protect his neck before I could chop his neck, "we want her to be here to take care of you. I think she could do better than us boys."

"Well... you guys seem right."

I heard Taekwoon's voice outside, then, my heart is beating, followed by Sojin's voice. I can't really hear what they say clearly, but a minute later, Sojin, with her worry face, get into my room.

"Hey Sojin noona!"

"Hello Hongbin," Sojin is waving to greet Hongbin and turn to face me, "ya, Cha Hakyeon, why did you make me so worry?"

"I'm... hmm..." I could say no words.

I'm happy to see she's really worry about me. I feel loved by her. Taekwoon pull Hongbin's arm to make him stand up from my bed.

"Hongbin, let's leave now, we still have class two more hours. I'll ask permission from Mr. Kim about you two. So don't worry and take your time," said Taekwoon.

"Ah yes, we better leave now hyong, I'm also so hungry," add Hongbin.

"Talk about hungry, I... I think I can't cook the porridge well so..."

"It's okay, Taekwoon, you can leave the kitchen for me," said Sojin while smiling.

"Okay, so we leave now Hakyeon. See you tomorrow."

"Hope you will get well soon tomorrow hyong! Bye bye!"

I'm watching Hongbin and Taekwoon leave my apartment, then turn to face my girlfriend. Her face still look worry, but I just can grins stupidly to her.

"Ya! Cha Hakyeon! You really..."

"I'm sorry..."

"It's not your fault too..." she is touching my head, "where is the scar?"

                "Hmm I think here..." I rub my head where I feel most hurt.

                "I will take care of your scar after I cook the porridge, okay?"

                "And here also hurt," I put her hand on my chest, "my heart... is beating so fast when you're near me."

                "Then it means you got heart disease!" Sojin punch my chest lightly, "wait for me okay?"

                It feels like I have a wife. She is taking care of my scar, then she cook the porridge for me. She even insisted to feed me.

                "Say aaa~"

                I open my mouth so she can feed me the porridge.

                "How is it taste?"

                "Far more delicious than if Taekwoon who cook it."

                Both of us are laughing, then I hold her hand.

                "I feel like having a wife now."

                Sojin's face turns to red, "it can be happen someday."

                "How if I want it tomorrow?"

                "Stop teasing me Cha Hakyeon!"

                And I kiss her. A soft kiss on her lips. Her lips feels so soft and warm. I don't know why I have courage to do that, but all I know is I just really enjoying to kiss her lips, even though this is our first kiss, since we're being together three months ago. I hug her closer while kissing her lips, my heart is beating really fast, and I could feel hers too. I peck her lips before I couldn't control myself anymore then I stare on her blushing face.

                "Ya! You really..."

                "Why? Can't I kiss my girl?"

                "Ofc you can... but... it's so sudden..."

                "But did I do it right?"

                "I... I think so..."

                "So do you like it?"

                "Ya!!! Stop teasing me!" she punch my shoulder quite hard.

                "But since you like it... can I kiss you more?"

                "Finish your food first!"

                "So after finish it we can do it?" I took the bowl from her then start to eat fast.

                "Weirdo Hakyeon! I thought you're healthy already and I could leave you!"

                "Nope you can't," I said after I put the bowl away then hug her waist, "you're mine now."

                "Yaaaaa CHA HAKYEON!!!"

                "SOJIN! SOJIN I MADE IT!"

                I'm running towards Sojin who is standing at the university's corridor. She open her mouth to form an "O", looks so cute, while I'm waving a card to her.

                "I MADE IT! I'M GOING TO THE FINAL STAGE!"

                Sojin get the card from my hand, "my boyfriend... will be an idol!"

                "It's because of your support, so I can make it!"

                A month ago, I was register myself to join a talent competition (boys are suggest me to do that). The winner of this event will be an idol under a big entertainment company here in South Korea. Since I think it's cool to challenge myself, so I practice a lot to win in this competition. After many rounds, finally next week is the final round, which is only two contestants left: both of us will be taken by the company, but the winner will debut first. Sojin looks so happy while reading the card that I gave to her, but I feel guilty.

                "Sojin-ah... I'm sorry."

                "What? Why did you say like that in sudden?"

                "Because of this event, I'm rarely accompany you lately."

                "Don't worry about that Hakyeon, my priority is to make sure you practice well," she said while smiling.

                "But I really miss the time when we always be together."

                "Do that after you win. Maybe I could be one of your staff or your manager, hahaha!"

                "Sojin-ah..."

                "Let's go, I will accompany you to practice today, since I have free time today!"

                Sojin push me to the dance practice room. Well... I should do my best and pay for her later.

AUTHOR'S POV

                Hongbin is ringing the bell of Hakyeon's apartment. He is hoping to see Hakyeon, but the one who open the door is Sojin.

                "Ah noona! Hello!"

                "Hello Hongbin!"

                "Is Hakyeon hyong at home?"

                "No, he just away around half an hour ago. Is there something important to tell him?"

                "Actually I bring some notes from the class to him," Hongbin show some books on his hands.

                "Come in Hongbin. I think you can leave it in his room and don't forget to leave note to remind him."

Hongbin enters Hakyeon's apartment. Since Hakyeon become a popular idol, he rarely attend the class and also to meet his best friends. Even Hakyeon is rarely being together with Sojin too. After put the books and the note on Hakyeon's table in his room, Hongbin go to see Sojin who is still busy at the kitchen.

                "Noona, what are you doing?"

                "Well I cook some food that Hakyeon could eat when he got home. Eating instant foods isn't good for his health."

                Hongbin sighs, "he is really busy now."

                "Well, but you guys are happy right? Your best friend is a popular idol."

                "I think so... but how about you, noona? Are you happy too?"

                "Ofc I am. How could I'm not happy? My boyfriend is an idol hahaha~"

                "But he hasn't tell the media yet about the relationship right?"

                Sojin stopped her laugh. The sudden change of her expression makes Hongbin shocked.

                "I can understand he can't do it now... since he's a newcomer. I could wait for some time..."

                And Hongbin spotted Sojin's wet eyes.

                "Noona..."

                "Could you help me with the cake, Hongbin? I think if that is baked well already, we can eat some before we leave this place."

                "Okay noona."

Hongbin is helping Sojin with her cook. Both of them are enjoying the time, though both of them feel something is missing around them. It's Hakyeon's presence. But Sojin feels okay with it... she is okay... she is still okay... she will be okay.

                "Is it cold?"

                I put a jacket around Sojin's small body. Is it me, or Sojin is really looking pale and skinny lately?

                "Now I feel warm," she answered while rest her head on my shoulder.

                After a long time, finally I can take some break from my hectic schedule as an idol. That's why I choose to attend our student's event: firework night. All students are gathering tonight around the campfire. We will cook our food, then play with the firework, also to watch it. This is a yearly event of the university in every Autumn. I choose to leave my chance to sleep at home and stay here, because Sojin is here.

                "Let's enjoy our time tonight... but it's a bit not private."

                "Hahaha it's okay, but I think this event is unique since I can't attend it last year," Sojin is pouting slightly, "did you remember I should go back to my parent's house at that time?"

                "Ah yes of course I do. So, let me cook the steak for you."

                "Can you cook?" Sojin raised her eyebrow.

                "Of course I can! Just wait okay!"

                I run to the cooking area where many students are cooking there.

                "Woon-ah, leave a space for me."

                "Ah Hakyeon. Wanna cook too? I hope you can help me with my steak."

                Taekwoon shows his black steak for me and make me laugh.

                "You have no improvement at all. Let's cook together."

AUTHOR'S POV

                Sojin is sitting near the campfire and waiting for Hakyeon. She is holding Hakyeon's jacket so tight on her body. Suddenly some students running while playing some firecracker. Sojin who has slightly trauma with the sound of firecracker, leave her seat.

                "I really hate it..."

                She lets her legs take her far away to an empty bench and sit there. She looks up and saw the pretty bright sky full with stars. But not for long time she stares at the sky, she shut her eyes.

                "No, not here... not right now... please. I wanna enjoy the time tonight. Please don't..."

                "Sojin noona?"

                Sojin open her eyes and found Hongbin is standing in front of her.

                "Ah, Hongbin... why are you here?"

                "Well I'm just walking around. What about you, noona? Not with Hakyeon hyong?"

                "He is cooking the steak, and those people who play with the firecrackers freak me out," Sojin chuckles, "I have trauma with it."

                "Really? How come? It's nice to play with it!"

                Hongbin is now sitting beside Sojin. While laughing, Sojin tell him the story from her childhood about why she hates firecrackers a lot.

"Well it's... not really funny actually. If no parents come at that time, maybe they could burn their own house," said Hongbin seriously, "I could understand why you hate it noona hahaha~"

                "Yeah so I choose to run away from it if I can, hahaha~"

                Then both of them are silent and look up to the sky.

                "How long already since Hakyeon hyong become an idol?"

                "Around 6 months? But it feels like a year..."

                "I miss the old him."

                Sojin smiles, "but we can't live in the past. We should know time makes us changed..."

                Hongbin look at her, "have him tell the media already?"

                "Not yet," Sojin shakes her head.

                "Why? I thought he promised to us he will do it!"

                "It's okay, Hongbin-ah, I could understand his position," Sojin answered, "he just released his first album, it will create much chaos if he make scandal now."

                "Last time you said he just debut, and now you said he's just released his album. Then what's the next reason? He just has his first concert?" ask Hongbin, feel offended, "and you said scandal? Is your relationship status a scandal? It's not, noona!"

                Sojin chuckled, "why should you get angry like that Hongbin-ah? I'm really okay with it."

                "But I'm not okay with it."

                "What do you mean? I thought you understand Hakyeon better than me?"

                "I'm not okay to see you're unhappy."

                This words from Hongbin makes Sojin goes in silent. Hongbin take his phone out and show her some pictures.

                "If I'm Hakyeon hyong... I would tell the world that I have a pretty girlfriend like you. And we could do this..."

Sojin is looking at Hongbin's phone. There are many pictures of a couple, some have quotes on it, some not, but both of the couple looks happy and they do many romantic things together: go to the cinema, zoo, beach, amusement park, have holiday together, candle light dinner, even stay on bed together. A lot of thoughts appear in Sojin's mind... she and Hakyeon, were, doing some of that together before... but those things can't be done in the past 8 months. She missed it. She missed all the things that she and Hakyeon did together. Are they even can call as a couple now? A tear drops from her eye.

                "If we were couple... noona... please be mine. I could take care of you better than Hakyeon hyong. I would never let you crying like this."

                Hongbin use his thumb to wipe Sojin's tears. Sojin is shaking her head, try to calm herself down.
