[caption id="attachment_204775" align="alignleft" width="224" caption="Korean hanbok (한복) is worn by the SPG. Cool and dignified."][/caption] It was kind of cloudy that afternoon. I was strolling around with some fellow Kompasianers at PRJ Fair Ground. The air was pretty hot outside. The fair ground was full of flocks of visitors and many automobiles exhibited to attract potential purchasers. I'm totally NOT a huge fan of automotive industry. Don't get me wrong. I hold the A and C driving licence. I drive (my dad's) car. And I ride a motorbike, occasionally. But when it comes to selecting which automobile or motorbikes that look cool or fixing it, I give up even before trying. And I don't bother trying. It's not my style anyway. I hate automobiles. They're the culprit of global warming. There I said it. So there I was, stranded in the middle of an automotive exhibition. Not knowing sure what I was supposed to write (Kompasiana staff required us to report something about the exhibition), I tried to take a glance to superficial joy every male enjoys: the sales promotion girls. Sales promotion girls at public events are the most evident proof  of female physique worship. They're hot and gorgeous. They're creatures who won genetic lottery. They're those who make you envy to death. [caption id="attachment_204779" align="alignleft" width="179" caption="The other 'species' of SPGs that predominates the whole exhibition. More skin exposed, more sales they'll get!"][/caption] One thing I noticed here while looking for report materials was two types of SPGs: scantily-clad ones and fully-clothed ones. I saw an SPG with a Korean traditional attire: hanbok (한복). She looked particularly confident with her entirely wrapped figure, with the least portion of skin and silhouette exposed. Then I saw another sales promotion girl. She was standing amongst visitors, confidently of course. What was different from the previous one was she was proudly exposing her smooth thighs, wearing a pair of white high-heeled boots and sleeveless shirt. I’m Indonesian, and I’m ashamed to find out that there is no sales promotion girl there wearing our traditional attires. Why? Where’s our national pride? While the Korean automobile company is proudly showing off their national attire, why aren’t we doing the same? Are those curvy legs with boots selling more cars than legs covered with a loose long skirt and long pants? Are we as as shallow as we seem? I mean, does it sound super ridiculous there's an Indonesian international event without Indonesian flavor in it?
