I saw your face in my mind's eye

Why did your smile impress me?

And every time my tears dropped,

I could see your beautiful eyes in my loneliness

You were so lovely

A wonderful man I've ever met

I've promised I couldn't be with you

Though I started loving you in my loneliness

I could see your smile in your deep sleep

I do often wonder if you were dreaming of me

Why everything seemed to be unfair between us

I wish your confidence would secure our sacrifices
