3. Make sure you have the facts right.

When we do something to the public, we must convince the motive and the facts first. Finding fame is something a lot of good reasons for stating something that a major disaster is the end of the world's climate.

To save themselves from embarrassment, maybe you should have all the facts have been checked before it was announced. Remember that it never hurts to check your results. If you are not an expert in one field, you might want to get advice from others. Typically, the investigators will not ask others for help because they do not want to share the fame. They always think they will get by alone. Unfortunately, they did not get a second opinion and this it often leads to self-destruction.
