The apple falling on Newton's head is probably how the concept of gravity began. So if you think that gravity is caused by the Earth's magnetic field? You are mistaken if you think that gravity and magnetic fields are the same thing, because they are different. Check out the following explanation.

What is gravity? Newton's law of gravity states that objects in the universe attract each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

In other words, gravity is the force of attraction between two objects that have mass, with objects of greater mass attracting objects of lesser mass. This law is also affected by distance; the closer the distance, the greater the force, and vice versa, the smaller the force, the farther the distance.

227 years later, Albert Einstein came up with the theory of general relativity. He stated that there is a basin in spacetime caused by a large mass object, so that objects around it with smaller masses are'sucked' into the basin, and the'suction' force is called the gravitational force.

As an analogy, put the marbles on the edge of the trampoline and try to lie in the middle of the trampoline; it will create a basin there, and then automatically the marbles will roll towards you. The large-mass object, you, pulls the smaller-mass marble on the trampoline, which we think of as space and time.

The earth has several parts, including the crust, mantle, and core. The core consists of iron and nickel and is divided into two types, namely, the inner core (solid) and the outer core (liquid). The Earth's inner core has a very hot temperature, resulting in convection processes in the outer core and circulation processes.

When the earth rotates, the inner core and outer core have different speeds. It happens because of the difference in rotational speed. The inner and outer cores experience friction, which creates electric currents and then produces electromagnetic forces, or what we often call the earth's magnetic field.
After the above explanation, what is the difference between gravity and a magnetic field? The first is the object being attracted. Gravity attracts anything as long as it has mass, while magnetic fields attract ferromagnetic objects only. The second difference is the direction; gravity pulls objects towards the earth, while the magnetic field pulls towards the poles of the earth.
