If I Were a Governor Facing a Pandemic

if the coronavirus prevention could be done with physical distancing to keep people within 1 meter followed by not gathering in groups of more than 10 people, although Mudik couldn't be done without violating those guidelines, therefore will give an increased growth of patients positive with the virus not only to the people that meet during the transfer but also to other provinces, which could be impossible to fix.

That's where lockdown came in and to put aside traditions for public reasons, to put an end to the virus for Indonesia once and for all. Lockdowns need to be followed by payment to all employees that working form homes and nonworking or part-time workers.

Our government is putting economical reasons to prevent lockdown, but if I were a governor I'll do a lockdown in mainland Jakarta while also healing people in other regions like what China did, for a more effective and efficient way to decrease the virus spread while getting more and more health care and health facility to make them more accessible.
