With every breath I take, 

with every beat Of my own heart, 

I am reminded of 

The many gifts that I have been bestowed, 

The many blessings that I cannot cheat.

I'm grateful for the love that I have known, 

For family, friends, and all who've been so kind,

For every day, the sun does shine, 

For every night, the stars do shine upon.

I'm grateful for the journey that I've made, 

For every step upon the winding way, 

For all the moments that have made me who

I am, and all that's yet to come, I'm glad.
