Prologue for the novel entittled Kasidi Velintry - An Experimental Novel
'Everything is jumping up and down. Ideas, notions, thoughts, memories, even desires. Anyway, everything is jumping up and down.' As soon as Kasidi suddenly, there was no rain, no wind, he said. Even though  already used to this style, it can't help but be surprised. Well, it's bound to come back again, yeah.
'What do you mean?' tried to ask with a serious expression.
'What do you mean? The meaning is clear. So far, everything has been jumping around, but lately it's getting worse. Everything jumped up and down. How can I control all this if the jumps are getting higher and farther.'
Brows furrowed. Wow, it's bad if the relapse gets worse. The higher, the further? How come it's like the Olympic slogan? Citius, Altius, Fortius? Faster, higher, stronger? Is it true that the jumps in your head are getting faster, higher and stronger? This must be because you just watched the Summer Olympics in Japan which were postponed a year because of the corona virus, right? Hehehe...
'Try telling the story first coherently and calmly so that it is clear. OK? Don't jump around. How can it be understood if the links are not clear, if the sequence is not clear, if it jumps here and there?'
Hehehe... I want to know if you understand what hook-and-loop is...
Kasidi widened his eyes, staring sharply.
'Yes, I will actually tell you this. Listen carefully okay...'
Try to smile as sweetly as possible. You're so pretentious, when I am not listening to what you say? Just listening to it is not necessarily easy to understand, especially if I don't listen to it, it's even more ridiculous.
     'Yes, I will listen carefully.'
A moment later, just as if the trigger of a machine gun was pressed continuously, a series of sharp bullets whizzed out and hit the eardrums. Damn it, if it's like this, how can it be comfortable to listen to, not to mention that it really feels like it's jumping.
Five minutes later, this crazy demon suddenly stopped talking, really suddenly stopped. The room turned silent instantly. Silence full of mystery. The barrage of sharp bullets stopped whistling and what was left behind were sore eardrums and a shaken brain. Also quiet and quiet. Bah, damn, really damn...
     'How? Understand? Clear?'
What's clear? Understand what? Is it true that someone can understand an explanation like that, gliding without pause plus jumping here and there, even angels can't necessarily understand? Damn it...
'I don't understand,' trying to say as gently as possible while shaking his head slowly.
'Well, how are you? Don't you understand something like this? Therefore, when I speak, listen carefully... well, I have to repeat that...'
It turned out that Kasidi did not repeat what was explained using the machine gun style earlier. Maybe he himself doesn't remember what he just said, maybe it's because of other reasons, which is definitely no repetition. There is only silence, there is only silence, there is only silence, all that remains is grumbling. Well, I can only grumble in my heart when I get this kind of treatment. Damn, damn indeed...
Then, as surprising as the fact that he said he would repeat it but apparently didn't repeat it, Kasidi said loudly, today and tonight I will compose a narrative poem, or narrative poetry, yes, and tomorrow morning just wait on your cellphone. Let's start with that, shall we?
We? Why us? What does it have to do with me? That's your own business, bro, none of our business, none of my business. If you want narrative poetry or narrative poem, that's fine as long as you can and do by yourself.
'Okay.' As slowly and gently as possible. Hopefully Kasidi understands the metaphorical meaning of a soft answer like this accompanied by a look full of questions. Yah, but how could he possibly understand. The literal ones don't understand or act like they're being simplistic, how come it's all metaphorical, and it turns out it's true.
'Okay.' The answer was short and then he walked away.
Damn. God damn it. Demon. Devil. What an idiot. When he answered casually, he wandered off and didn't say goodbye. It's just that what else can I do, hasn't that been the way I've been with him for a dozen years?
