All these processes establish my attitudes toward wage cutting which then determine my behavior. But we also have emotional process which also influence our behavior. Emotional process can directly determine our behavior, without involving logical reasoning. However, we also could transmit the emotional episodes to feeling process , to involve it into logical reasoning first , before then determine our behavior.
For example, we might back to the wage cutting. Even though I belief that wage cutting is something that could increase cost efficiency, and my feeling toward it is good, some episodes of my experiences show that wage cutting is something avoid by company since it has caused strikes between labor and management and it drives company into further problems. Thus, my emotions sway my conscious evaluation. The result : i won’t propose wage cutting to my company.
So in this example, my attitudes toward wage cutting has changed, and also my behavior.
This one is only a simple example of how emotions affect attitudes and behavior. However, it has brought us to the conclusion that the notion could logically explained, hopefully.
*only a pinch detail of a chapter in the book, I need more comprehensive understanding :D
