The Importance of Critical Thinking for Students in The era of Hoaxes as a Trend

Previously, I had never written in english on this platform.  However, this time I would like to discuss something that had been neglected in our current education system.  I was taking this up because it was related to my researched for obtaining my bachelor's degree.  However, I would delve deeper into the realities i had encountered recently based on my researched findings.

 Basically, everyone was born with different talents and potentials.  Each potential became a weapon that could support someone in surviving.  Many things were related to this potential because it was very mysterious.  Therefore, many people tried to concoct things that could awaken someone's potential.  One of the tools needed was critical thinking.  In today's world, critical thinking was an essential skill that everyone must possess in ordered to compete in the intense competition of this world.

 If we could liken this world to a vast ocean, then the problems we faced were liked a great stormed wave that never recedes.  A strong and storm-resistant ship was needed.  Therefore, anyone who possesses that ship had been able to withstand and navigate through the onslaught of the great stormed reached the shore.  Returning to the main discussion about critical thinking.  We could took the above example that critical thinking was a ship capable of carrying someone to survive the harshness of the world.  A critical thinker had been able to withstand the harsh blows of every problem in this world.  Therefore, that advanced tool was very much needed, especially for the seekers of knowledge in this beloved country.

 If we delve deeper into the field practices regarding our current education, the students' critical thinking skills tended have been underdeveloped.  In the academic world, critical thinking was a primary requirement for a student as their tool in the battled of ideas.  A person's ability made an argument about an issue started with how skilled they were at identifying that problem.  Critical thinking could also sharpen a person's analysis when receiving a lot of information that entered their mind.

 As we all knew, the world where information technology became the main weapon in shaping opinions had become a major shockwave.  Regardless of whether it was the truth or a falsehood.  This issue became an initial urgency due to the difficulty in finding the truth of the matter.

 Critical thinking was defined as the ability of a person to view a problem in depth, analyze it sharply, and draw accurate conclusions.  The implementation of critical thinking for students could been divided into four important aspects.  These four aspects were: problem identification, reviewing information, problem analysis, and drawing conclusions.  Students must been gradually trained in critical thinking through the following stages.  Great thinkers from ancient times to the present possess a high leveled of critical thinking ability.  They were able to saw the gaps in every problem they encounter.  If a student possesses this ability, they could managed their thoughts to avoided manipulation by random information that was scattered every second.  This was due to the used of gadgets, which had become a primary aspect of life today.  The information accessed through social media became a gateway for information that reaches each user. 

Most students in this country received incoming information without evaluating it, they forgot to identify the source and every opinion within it, they forget to deeply analyze the intent and purpose of the information.  They was able to brutally decide that the information was validated as true. 

 Those things were the result of them lacking the attribute of critical thinking.  In fact, it was normal for them to corrected, question, and refute an opinion that came to them.  However, they were unable to delve even a little into the information they received.  Most would accepted it without double-checking.  The widespread circulation of hoaxes in this country was caused of many conflicts that lead to significant disputes.

 Critical thinking had a positive impact on a person because it sharpens the mind.  Forming mental sharpness requires an attribute called critical thinking.  Critical thinking allows someone to process every piece of information in their mind methodically.  Thus, they were able to argue based on a neat and cleared thought structure.  They could argued with a strong foundation because they had a systematic and coherent thought process and understand the problem.  Critical thinking also trains a person's logic to function properly.  That helps them avoided falling into fallacious thinking.  If we watched a pointless debate, then watched a debate from harare, we could felt the difference in quality between the two shows.  Starting with strong, cleared arguments that critique the opponent's motioned.  That was the quality that must been developed in students in these public schools. 

 If we observe some recent news turmoil.  We encounter many cases of plagiarism, forgery, and much more in our education sector.  That contrasts with the goals of this country in the constitution regarding the intellectual advancement of the nation.  This was generally reflected when reviewing the average IQ possessed by the people of this country.

 If as a nation we wanted to weather the great stormed at the hundredth anniversary of this country, then the current generation must been able to reform itself, one of which was by equipping itself with critical thinking
