Since the occurrence of coup d’etat against the first democratically elected President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mohammad Morsi, millions of his supporters throw their supports to the streets to reject such action done by the country’s armed forces. The President is kidnapped & the rally is confronted with unnecessary and excessive use of force, causing severe violation of human rights and crimes against humanity.

The Egyptian Armed Forces has caused a grave beach of human rights norm protected under International Law & Egyptian’s domestic human rights law, violated the rule of law of Egypt as a state and has also aggravated crimes against humanity towards the pro-Morsi supporters and their fundamental rights. In autocratic way, the Egyptian Armed Forces has aggressively reacted towards the protest, resulting in hundreds of dead victims, due to the illegal use of live ammunition fired to the demonstrators. Several reports has also found the evidence of wound in the head and in the chest of the victims from this type of ammunition. Numbers of people wounded and death has increased until the current moment.

Many states and their states leaders have also condemned towards the atrocities occurred in Egypt. With such illegal and excessive use of force done by the military, the matters is not anymore just a political matter alone, but has crossed the line of humanity with the crushing of a peaceful civilian protest by the armed forces.

This petition is directed to :

1. Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of Indonesia

2. Barack Hussein Obama II, President of the United States of America

3. Ban Ki-moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations
