ABSTRACT
A film that has a good storyline is not only based on its performance or the quality of the film but, rather, its message and vital information that can enable an audience to locate it. A movie that has a wholesome message that a writer's  attention  about is maleficent 2: mistress of evil.
Maleficent 2 was an adventure film produced by Walt Disney pictures directed by joachim ronning. This film is a sequel to maleficent 2014. This movie maleficent starring Angelina jolie. It tells of one maleficent as a keeper and protector of the moors and of aurora who became the same moors protecting the moors from the threats of strange creatures.
This study aims to know and understand the moral message contained in maleficent 2. This research is a descriptive qualitative study, in which it will analyze, describe, and interpret the meanings and symbols found in maleficent 2.

Keywords : Maleficent 2 : Mistress of Evil Movie, Synopsis, Moral value.

ABSTRAK
Film yang memiliki alur cerita yang baik tidak hanya dilihat dari pemerannya atau kualitas filmnya melainkan dilihat dari pesan pesan dan informasi-informasi penting yang terkandung dalam film tersebut yang bisa mengedukasikan penonton.  Film yang memiliki pesan moral yang bermanfaat yang menjadi perhatian penulis adalah Maleficent 2 : Mistress of evil.

 Film Maleficent 2 adalah film petualangan yang diproduksi oleh Walt Disney Pictures yang disutradai oleh Joachim Ronning. Film ini merupakan susulan dari Film Maleficent 2014. Film Maleficent ini dibintangi oleh Angelina Jolie. 

Film ini menceritakan seorang Maleficent sebagai seorang penjaga dan pelindung Moors dan Aurora yang menjadi Ratu Moors yang sama sama melindungi Moors dari ancaman makhluk makhluk aneh.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami makna  pesan moral yang terkandung dalam film Maleficent 2.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dimana penelitian ini akan mengalisis, mencatat, menggambarkan dan menginterpretasikan makna-makna, simbol-simbol yang terdapat dalam film Maleficent 2.

INTRODUCTION
In the 4.0 era, technology and communication are increasingly developing. Communication media is not only through conversation with one another, but we can find communication media in various mass communication media. For example, movies, radio, drama, and others. 

Mass communication media, especially movies, provide entertainment for listeners and have an impact on those who watch the film.
Movie is a popular mass media and is often used by people other than television, so that films have become part of our daily lives. The story in a movie is made in various ways so that it can provide a message for those who listen and watch the film or movie . The messages contained in a film affect the audience both cognitively, affectively and sustainably.

 Movie is a work of art that continues to develop until now. Movie is the result of film development in the form of a thread of image projected on a screen and set to be shown with soundtrack. 

According to Effendy, culture and art expression tools can produce films as the result. The aims of movie to entertain the audience with various types of messages delivered. From movie, actor can send their feeling to the audience so the movie can make the audience cry and laugh. The movie has various types of genres one of which is fantasy.

The movie that has a moral message that really affects the audience who watches it is Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil. This movie is a follow-up movie from the novel "Sleeping Beauty" which was developed into Maleficent (2014) and later developed again into Maleficent 2: Mistress Of Evil. 

The film, which was directed by Joachim Roaming, is a film that the writer examines. In this film, Angelina Jolie is playing as Maleficent and Elle Fanning as Aurora. This film tells of a Maleficent as a guardian and protector of the Moors and Aurora who becomes the Queen of the Moors who also protects the Moors from the threat of strange creatures. In this study, the author focuses on the moral messages contained in the Maleficent 2 movie.

Moral value in among the sensual and aesthetic value on an equal footing. Some non-moral values for instance that of fishing are subject transmutation of means into ends, and some accurse in other ways. But so it in particular with moral values: some accurse by transmutation of means into ends, through training, and some perhaps require no training. 

Moral value training has been neglected or has proved feasible. Their ordering of values has remained in such a state that these persons stand to maximize their satisfactions by battening on our good behavior cheating on their own. The moral values tend by virtue of their social character to be more uniform  from person to person, within a culture, than many sensual and aesthetic values. 

(Goldman and Kim, 1978). Moral value in the Maleficent film include parental affection for children, sincerity of love, and teaching that we should not easily trust others.

From the results of research on the moral values of the film Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil, the author finds the problem that will be raised in the discussion, namely what are the moral values that we encounter in the film.  Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe and analyze the moral values contained in Maleficent 2.

METHODS
Research design
In this study the author uses qualitative research because this research is not in the form of numbers but this research is in the form of descriptions and words and sentences. 

Qualitative research is defined as a methodology that provides tools for understanding in-depth meanings related to complex phenomena and processes in the practice of social life (Denzin and Lincoln quoted by Brady: 2015).

Meanwhile, according to Oun and Bach (2014), qualitative method is a method for testing and answering questions about how, what, when, where, and why someone acts in a certain way on a specific problem.

Method of collecting data
In this data collection method, the writer only watched the film repeatedly in order to get good results for this research. This study uses the observation method so that this study gets good results.

Data analysis
In analyzing the data, the writer watched the film repeatedly so that he could understand the content of the story, the writer also understood the plot of the story and knew the actors and their respective characters. The author also gets moral messages related to everyday life from this film. Then the author raised the moral messages contained in this film to be the title of the author's research.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION
From the results of research using qualitative research, we find the moral messages contained in this story.  The moral message is in the form of learning that we can take to be our teaching material in everyday life.  In the film Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil, which tells of an evil fairy, it gives many life lessons.

 The love of parents for their children
 This maleficent story shows that not all adoptive parents are evil in the eyes of people or their children.  Maleficent is a mother who is able to educate her child to be a good person, Maleficent has a wise heart to make decisions for her child's life.  Even though Maleficent is a notorious evil person, she has a very kind heart and a very high affection for her child.

 Willing to sacrifice
 In entering the ending in the film, we can see that Prince Philip's mother, Queen Ulstead, wants to do evil to Aurora who is Maleficent's son and also the lover of her child.  Queen Ulstead wants Aurora dead and Maleficent comes to save Aurora, but the Queen throws a powder that has been mixed by a creature in the secret room of the Ulstead Kingdom.  

This powder can make the Moors become lost.  When Maleficent comes to save Aurora Queen Ulstead shoots and instantly Maleficent turns to ashes.  From this story, it can be learned that the sacrifice of a mother for her child and in the film, is willing to sacrifice, we often meet.

 Never judge people by their past
 After Aurora was proposed by Prince Philip, Prince Philip's family invited Aurora and Maleficent to dinner.  Arriving at the kingdom of Ulstead, Queen Ulstead brought up the incident of a baby who was cursed by Maleficent, the baby was Aurora and she brought up the fights that occurred in the Moors in the past.  Maleficent's fury begins to set in. 

From this story, what can be drawn is never to judge people from their past or bring up things that have happened.

 Do not ever lie
 As the saying goes "no matter how smart we are at hiding the durian, in the end it will be smelled".  When Maleficent gets angry with Queen Ulstead at dinner, Queen Ulstead approaches the King and the King passes out.  After the king fainted the Queen accused that Maleficent had cursed him.  And at the end of the story, after they found evidence, it turned out that the Queen had stabbed the King so that he fainted for days.  From this story got a message that never lie and accuse others because only evidence can answer everything.

 Loving someone not because of love but only because of the throne
 Queen Ulstead married the King not because she loved the King but she wanted the throne.  It is said that the Queen's father wanted peace between humans and Moors but the queen did not want peace for that the Queen married the king just to get the throne.  Here the author finds that true love does not exist in Queen Ulstead.

CONCLUSION
This study has explored the content of the story and analyzed the moral values contained in the film Maleficent 2: Mistress of evil.  This Maleficent film, which is famous for an evil fairy, does not always turn out to be evil, but what people see from their appearance is different from themselves and their lives. 

The results of this study, can show attitudes and behaviors that can be exemplified in everyday life.  These moral values that we encounter, among others, about Love, Sacrifice, Honesty, and Life from the contents of this film's story can be a lesson.  And it is expected when watching the film to examine significantly the story and meaning of the film.
