The Urgency of Passing The Sexual Violence Act

 a quo law runs properly, there is no legal discrimination, acts fairly, upholds the principle of e quality before the law, creates harmonization in synergy with related parties and then carries out monitoring and evaluation related to the development of the aquo Law in order to achieve protection for the community so that it can create community welfare in accordance with what is stated in the fourth paragraph of the opening of the 1945 Constitution.

 The motivation for the enactment of the Law on the Crime of Sexual Violence is as a representation of the state's obligation to protect , respect , and fulfill particularly in the prevention, treatment, protection, and recovery of victims in order to achieve a sense of justice and legal certainty in society. 

This is in line with the words of Prof. Sadjipto Rahardjo who emphasized that the law is not a final scheme ( finite scheme ), but continues to move, change, following the dynamics of human life. Therefore, the law must continue to be dissected and explored through progressive efforts to reach the light of truth in achieving justice.[4]
