Small Habits Big Impacts: Building a Quality Life with Small Habits

In our daily lives, small habits can have a big impact on our quality of life. This time, we will discuss some small habits that can bring significant changes, including reading books, listening to podcasts, doing small acts of kindness to earthlings, exercising, drinking enough water, writing morning pages, and night pages. Let's discuss them one by one.

1. Reading Books

Reading books can make our horizons grow much wider. Reading books regularly not only increases our knowledge but also enriches our imagination and creativity, besides that by reading books frequently, our public speaking and critical thinking skills will improve.

2. Listening Podcasts

Podcasts are an effective way to continue learning in various fields without sacrificing time. We can listen to podcasts while walking, exercising, cleaning, story night and others. This can broaden our horizons on various topics. Listening to podcasts improves our thinking and analyzing skills, bringing in new perspectives from other people.

3. Do Small Kindness to Earth's Creatures

Doing small acts of kindness, such as feeding cats, taking care of plants, giving smiles to others and other things that can benefit people around you.   Doing small acts of kindness can help foster a sense of empathy and connection with the natural world.

4. Exercise

Exercising regularly not only supports physical health but also helps reduce stress, improve mood, and increase concentration. Exercise can be done anytime and anywhere. There is no reason not to exercise, just stretching 10 minutes a day or meditating can make our mind more relaxed and mood much better.

5. Drink Enough Water: Use an eco-friendly water bottle

Drinking enough water helps maintain fluid balance in the body, improves organ function, and supports healthy skin. We need to stay hydrated. In addition, drinking from an eco-friendly bottle can reduce the use of disposable bottles and protect the planet.

6. Morning Pages

Writing Morning Pages every morning can help organize thoughts, ease worries, and spark creativity. Morning pages can be done with what we are going to do today such as scheduling a to do list, and breaking down what we are feeling. Morning Pages can also help us be more productive, think positively, and reduce overthinking.

7. Night Pages

Writing Night Pages allows us to reflect on the day that has passed, evaluate achievements, and express gratitude for positive experiences. We can write down what we have gone through today, as well as evaluate what is lacking in ourselves. This is a form of self-reflection. Write things like, I have, I can, I am capable, I have done, and I am grateful.

These seven small habits, though simple, have a huge impact on our lives. Building positive habits such as reading, listening to podcasts, doing good, exercising, drinking enough water, writing Morning Pages, and writing Night Pages can form a healthy mindset and steer our lives in a better direction. With consistency and self-awareness, we can create sustainable positive changes in our daily lives.
