Being lazy is a very bad attitude which, if repeated, can turn into a bad habit. The reason is, apart from wasting time and doing nothing, laziness can trigger a number of diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular obesity, forgetfulness, and some types of cancer.

What a shame, isn't it? if the next generation of the nation is a generation characterized by laziness. In order to stop this, we need to understand what is causing this laziness.
What is dopamine ?
Dopamine is a hormone and neurotransmitter found in our bodies. It is also known as the emotion control hormone and is one of the organic chemical compounds that motivate us to want or do something.
This hormone will improve mood when produced in the right amount, making people feel happy and excited, we are motivated to do something even when the brain is stimulated to produce dopamine. In contrast, laziness results from activities that cause the brain to release small amounts of dopamine.
Low dopamine activities, such as studying, writing reports, reading knowledge books, and so on, it won't be fun to do if we are used to very high dopamine activities, such as playing games, watching movies, browsing, and so on.
As a result, because there isn't enough dopamine to stimulate our brains, our bodies will be too sluggish to do productive tasks.
So, what should we do?

Dopamine fasting, which refers to refraining from procrastinating and engaging in high dopamine activities, is one of the things that can be done.
Dopamine fasting doesn't always require high doses of drugs to reduce laziness, there are several things that can be implemented and they are quite simple.

The goal is to investigate or reset the body's dopamine tolerance so that we can be stimulated once again to chase low dopamine, or to reduce laziness and replace it with productive endeavors.
The strategy for implementation is to designate a day where you engage only in low-dopamine activities such as exercising, reading, walking, writing, and other low-dopamine activities.
Begin a dopamine fast gently if making big changes feels great. Starting with once a month, up to once a week when you are away. If the body is used to this, don't forget to create a new healthy routine so that the feeling of laziness doesn't come back.
