A wedding is a magical moment that every girl on earth waiting for. My wedding, however, was a mess if it not for the help of my friends. Why my wedding is special? I think it is special because I married to the best man in the world. My beloved husband and I have the same belief in raising family also the same standard in moral beliefs. It is hard now days to find someone having with the same belief and standard. These qualifications are the most important of all and of course after love because I want to build my family in the same base. Both of us are member of the church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saint. It is the Gospel of Christ restored by God and Christ. We do not drink alcohol, drug, and we do not smoke. We believe in healthy living, chaste and also full fidelity in marriage.
Second special thing is we believe the marriage performed in the Temple will last for eternity or never end if we are worthy of each other. I love my husband and I want to be with him, with my children and family for all eternity. If you love someone so much, why would you settle to a marriage only on Earth? I am sure love is created eternal. There is no end to love. Like love of God to all mankind, family also can last for eternity. I could not imagine if in this life I would meet and married my husband and if after all we have go through we would become a stranger. No, after we all pass through the veil of death we all still a family. I will remember about my family and friends. If not so, heaven will be so painful place because we cannot share eternity with our loved one like we share it on earth. That is how we see death as a temporary separation with love one and after that we will still be together. This kind of marriage only can be done in the special place.

 In the temple the wedding vow spoken is not "till death do us a part" but "for now and eternity." How that affected us??? Married with forever vow does not mean we have free of challenges and difficulties marriage. Like other couple, we do fight and have our challenges. However, every time I always remember in my mind that we will grow together forever. All our problem can be solve and our love is bigger and stronger. We are fighting and find a way to work it out together. There is no run away if we have problem we tried to solve it as soon as possible because unsolved problem is like a pile of laundry, you have to do them sooner or later. Although, some time I feel we are stuck forever, it helps me to learn more to face the problem and live together with my spouse.
Eternal marriage does not mean you accept unacceptable behavior like abuse or addiction. That is why you have to choose the right person. Each of us is given the opportunity to choose according our will, even in choosing spouse. God will hold us accountable if we do not take care and responsible to our spouse and family. When my husband was thinking to purpose me, we prayed and asked God if I am the right person for him. He also advised me to pray and ask God opinion in prayer. We got separate answer that we would be good for each other. You dont need to be religious to pray. Indeed, you are advised to pray when you deciding important matter in your life. You will receive the answer if you are focus on your prayer. Some answers are still small voice, knowledge that it is right, peace or relax feeling, or warm feeling in your heart. Some answers are uneasy, feel like something wrong, not peaceful. Some do not feel anything or a feeling of the need to pray again, no answer, or the feeling you have to trust your judgment. With sincere prayer you won't miss the right person to live with you forever.
Other thing that I like about Eternal Marriage is that you are responsible not only to your spouse, family or religious community but also to God. We are each special so we are expected to treat each other as special too with love and care especially our spouse and our family.
