Chapter 1: Congratulations!

Situation 1

Lina has just finished drawing a picture of Mrs. Ani, her English teacher. She will present it on her birthday. Siti praises her picture and she's sure that Mrs. Ani will like it.

Conversation:

   Siti: "Your drawing is amazing, Lina. I'm sure Mrs. Ani will like it."

   Lina: "Thanks. I hope so."

Situation 2

Udin has just finished making fried tofus for his friend. Dayu said if they look yummy and he's sure that everybody will like it.

Conversation:

   Dayu: "Woah, those tofus look yummy. I'm sure everybody will like it."

   Udin: "Thank you. I hope so."

Situation 3

Beni has just finished mopping the floor of the health unit. Mr. Dani praises him and also thanks him for that.

Conversation:

   Mr. Dani: "You're a good cleaner. Thank you for mopping the floor."

   Beni: "You're welcome."

Situation 4

Siti has just finished practicing singing. She will sing in the celebration of Kartini Day. Dayu praises her that she sings like a real singer, and she will get a big around of applause for that.

Conversation:

   Dayu: "Woah, you sing like a real singer, Siti. I'm sure you will get a big around of applause."

   Siti: "Thank you, that's nice of you."
