History of Guns and Roses

Guns N' Roses is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1985. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Axl Rose, guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan, and drummer Steven Adler. The band quickly gained a following on the Los Angeles club scene, and signed a record deal with Geffen Records in 1986.

Guns N' Roses' debut album, "Appetite for Destruction," was released in 1987 and became a massive commercial success, selling over 30 million copies worldwide. The album featured hit singles such as "Welcome to the Jungle," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "Paradise City." The band's unique sound, which blended elements of hard rock, heavy metal, punk, and blues, set them apart from other bands of the era and established them as one of the most influential bands in rock history.

In the years that followed, Guns N' Roses became known for their wild and often controversial behavior, both on and off stage.
