Do you like cooking? Cooking is something that usually we do every day, especially for woman. Cooking can be enjoyable activity if we like it but there are some people lazy to cook or even afraid because they cannot make delicious food. To help them, people who cannot cook can see recipes. Recipes are very helpful. When we want to make delicious food, we need recipe because there are steps that can lead us to do it. And recipe is one of the example of procedure text.In English teaching learning, procedure text  is one of the material that should be thought to the students to enrich their reading,listening,writing and speaking skill. So while they learn how to make recipe dan cooking, they also learn reading,listening,Speaking and writing skill.

Then, what is procedure text actually? Another example is book instruction. When you buy a new TV or a new phone cell, there must be a book instruction in the box. Book instruction is also one of the examples of procedure text. When you want to download something from the internet, there are steps before we do that. Those steps are also procedure text. Then, what is procedure text actually?

Procedure text is a text that is designed to describe how something is achieved through a sequence of action or steps.

The social purpose of procedure text is to show how something is done  through sequence of steps which enable the reader to                   achieve the goal.

The purpose of procedure text is to tell the reader how to do or make something through a sequence of actions or steps.

The generic structure of procedure text:

• Goal
• Materials, and
• Steps.

Language features of procedure text:

• Using simple present tense
• Using imperative sentences
• Using action verb such as: add, cook, make, pour, etc.
• Using time sequences or temporal conjunction such as first, second,next, after that, etc

How To Make Novel Apple Pudding

Ingredients

4 green apples, peeled, cored and thickly sliced

1/4 cup/ 45g self-rising flour, sifted.

60g butter or margarine, cubed.

½ cup/100g caster sugar

11/4 cups/ 300ml water

Method/Steps

First, Place apple in a heat-proof dish. Place flour in a bowl and rub in margarine with a spatula.

Stir in sugar and water (mixture should be lumpy). Pour over apples.

Bake at 180°C for an hour or until syrupy and golden. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.

How To Make Mango Juice

Ingredients:

1. A glass of ice pack

2. A spoon of sugar

3. A piece of mango

4. A half glass of water

Steps:

1. First, peel the mango and clean it

2. Next, cut the mango into pieces and put them into the juicer

3. Then, put the water, ice and sugar in the blender

4. After that turn on the blender and wait about 15 seconds

5. Finally, pour the mango juice into the glass and ready to drink. Drink mango juice is good to improve your healthy in pandemic           

     periode, because its contain vitamin C
