Besides sharing a mysterious teaser, Netflix also posted a message from Hwang Dong-hyuk as the director, writer and executive producer of "Squid Game" for the fans. He wrote about how the drama started to become so popular and expressed his gratitude for the support over the years.
As one of Netflix's most popular series, many "Squid Game" fans are eagerly awaiting new season of this series.
"Of course, the confirmation about season 2 of "Squid Game" makes me even more impatient. This is the best series to watch. In the first season, the actors were good, the storyline was interesting, and also there were a lot of mystery in every episode. That's what makes me more curious about new things that will be shown in season 2". Said Rizqa Meliza, one of the fans of "Squid Game".

Although not much information was released, Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed that there will be several player faces that will return in the next season. He also told Vanity Fair that the next batch of episodes is expected to be released as early as the end of 2023 or 2024.
