The covid-19 outbreak still continues to plague the world, including in Indonesia. The outbreak spread so fast, all countries make preventive, curative, and promotional efforts to their citizens. The state's efforts in prevent the spread of the virus also penetrates into the world of education. Based on the policy of the Minister of Education and Culture on the Implementation of Education Policy in the Emergency Period of the Spread of Covid-19, it advises that the implementation of learning is done from home through online learning or learning from home.

The implementation of learning activities from home is usually done by using google classroom, whatsapp group, telegram group, or other media. Through online learning media, teachers try to deliver materials to students. The advantage of this online learning is that it is not tied to space and time. So that anytime and anywhere students can still follow the learning from the teacher.

However, in reality this online learning activity is not easy to implement in Indonesia. There are many limitations and problems that occur in the field. Some of them are in terms of educators, some teachers who do not have the ability to utilize the technological sophistication they have. In terms of students, not all students have android or laptop to access learning. In addition, in remote areas for example, not all students come from families who can afford to buy internet quota all the times.

We know that Indonesia is a vast country and not all of citizens are in urban areas. Those who live in rural areas, sometimes still unreachable by electricity and the internet. Therefore, it is not appropriate if the policy of learning from home is hit flat for all regions of Indonesia. This government policy on learning from home is a good to prevent the spread of viruses more widely while utilizing the sophistication of today's technology. However, for schools in rural areas where there is predicted that there's no spread of the virus, should be allowed to continue to carry out learning in schools.
