The Beauty of The Keuchik Leumik Mosque

One of the most visited tours in Banda aceh is one of them, Baiturrrahman Grand Mosque, where many tourists visit this beautiful place. But besides the Baiturrahman Mosque, Banda Aceh has another beautiful mosque, the Keuchik Leumik Mosque. This mosque is located in the village of Lamseupung, this mosque is 34 22 meters wide, stands on an area of 3,500. At the top there is a large dome surrounded by four small domes. The ornaments inside are very artistic, the most striking like the pulpit area which is contained in brass calligraphy carvings. On it hung two large decorative lights. The three meter diameter chandelier that hangs inside the dome and the calligraphy adds to the luxury of this mosque.

In my opinion there is a distinct difference between the Baiturrahman Mosque and the Keuchik Leumik Mosque. Baiturrahman Mosque is more like the Nabawi Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia, while the keuchik leumik mosque is more like a mosque in Turkey, Spain and Istanbul.
