There are 4 types of Visa (Indonesian Immigration Act Number 6 of 2011):
- Diplomatic Visa;
- Official/ Service Visa;
- Visit Visa; and
- Limited Stay Visa.

- VISA ON ARRIVAL
You may apply Visa on Arrival at the Indonesian Airport. After landing, you will meet a Bank (now Bank Rakyat Indonesia/ BRI) where you pay for the Visa on Arrival here.
- This is a single entry visa on arrival.
- This visa is US$35/30 days/person/visit
- This can be extended once for another 30 days.
- Once you leave Indonesia, this visa is not valid anymore.
- This visa is prohibited to work and study.

- Bank (BRI), pay for US$35 (new price) per person, show your passport, and get this Receipt:
- Immigration Check, present your Passport, VOA Receipt, and Arrival Card. This is your Visa on Arrival sticker, and will be stick on your passport page.
- SINGLE VISIT VISA
If you wish to travel and stay in Indonesia either more than 60 days, or your country is not VOA subjects, you may apply Single Visit Visa. Single Entry Visa means that you are allowed to enter Indonesia one time before the visa expiration date. The Indonesian Embassy and the Consulate Generals may issue a Single Entry Visa for up to 60 days stay.

- Multiple Visit Visa
Multiple Entry Visa means that you are allowed to enter Indonesia several times before the visa expiration date (the visa is valid for a year). Holder of Indonesian multiple entry visa is allowed to stay up to 60 (sixty) days in Indonesia. Multiple entry visa may be issued for official visit, business visit and family visit.

- This visa is US$110/visa
- This visa must be used between the date of issue and date of expiry (90 days).
- This visa is valid for 1 year.
- This visa is valid for maximum stay 60 days/ visit.
- Once you leave Indonesia, this visa is still valid to enter.
- This visa is prohibited to work and study.
