Banda Aceh | The Awesome Keuchik Leumiek Mosque

A new place for religious tourism, Keuchik Leumiek mosque. This mosque is located in Lamseupeung, Lueng Bata subdistrick, in Banda Aceh city.
This mosque was inaugurated on Monday, January 29, 2019 after the construction began in July 2016. This mosque was built on an area of 2500 m2 in the area of Haji Keuchik Leumiek recitation hall.

Keuchik Leumiek, the name of the mosque was taken from the family name of Haji Keuchik Leumik. the name was proposed by Haji Harun Keuchik Leumiek as the sole donor of the construction of this grand mosque.

Beside to worship, architecture in the style of the Middle-East makes this mosque the right choice for religious tourism. The golden yellow that dominates the inside of the mosque and the chandelier in the center of the mosque adds to the luxury of this mosque.

In the courtyard of the mosque, there are some date trees were planted, it strengthened the impression of the Middle-East. Besides this mosque there is also a typical Aceh building called Rumoh Aceh which is usually used for recitation places. This is a wonderfully beautiful sight, a typical Acehnese-style building and a middle-eastern building in one place.

If you want to visit this mosque, you can follow the river bank on the left after the bridge leading to the Surabaya intersection from Jambo tape way. You can get there by car or motorcycle. for those of you who do not have a private transportasion in Banda Aceh, you can use the services of (ojol/ojek online) an online motorcycle or online car to visit this mosque. Its place in the city area makes this mosque easy to visit.
