Isal blindfolded the child while Adjie stabbed the mother and they took the mother's jewelry and motorcycle. Isal felt guilty and could not control himself. Adjie told Isal to hurry back to the car. Jarot ordered Isal to kill the boy so that there would be no witnesses. Isal approached the mother's dying child and apologized. With tears in his eyes, Isal stabbed the child. They then left the scene. On the way Jarot told Isal

Jarot: "This is what happens when you become a curious person. The city is harsh, son, you have to do whatever it takes not to starve to death. A village boy like you doesn't have many options in the city. And don't mess with me."

Adjie: "Enough is enough, he's tired of your crazy talk."

Isal was silent. He was silent for the whole journey. He couldn't believe what he had done, what he and his brother had done to pay for his mother's medical treatment in the village. Jarot gave Isal 5 million for his successful work. Isal had never seen so much money, Isal thought about taking the money or not. But he remembered his promise to his mother to provide medical expenses at the end of the month. Finally, Isal accepted the money Jarot gave him. Starting out as a weak defender, Isal's destiny turned into a murderer.

January 14, 2023. Adjie and Isal became fugitives from the city. But that didn't stop them. Isal's personality had changed since the incident on New Year's Eve a few months that week. He wanted more and more money. Jarot asked Adjie and Isal to send a package of drugs to the suburbs. They will be rewarded with 20 million if they succeed in sending the package. Adjie refused Jarot's offer, but Isal accepted the request. Adjie forced Isal not to accept Jarot's offer. 

Adjie is afraid that if Isal accepts the offer, it will end their lives because the city is getting more dangerous for criminals. Jarot keeps tempting them with the offer. The proceeds from the offer could cover medical expenses over a long period of time. Isal accepted the offer. Adjie, who initially refused, resigned himself to Isal's choice.

January 15, 2023. Early at night, Isal and Adjie get ready to send the package. Bodyguard Jarot picks them up at Adjie's house. Isal gave a message to Leila to send the rest of the medical expenses to Mom in Lampung. Adjie and Isal get into the car. Bodyguard Jarot gave them two firearms. 

They leave for their destination. Adjie had a bad feeling that Jarot's bodyguard was using the road that led to the city's harbor. Adjie's feeling was right, that they were going to the harbor. The harbor area is close to the forest, the atmosphere is quiet, and there is minimal lighting.

When they arrived, Jarot's bodyguard gave the package to the two of them. Adjie told Isal to stay behind him. When they arrived at the meeting point. They saw Jarot and his bodyguard in the distance. Adjie and Isal approached Jarot and asked him why he was here and where the buyer of the drug package was. Suddenly there was a gunshot behind them. Isal shocked and looked back.

He heard the gunshot coming from one of Jarot's bodyguards who escorted them. Isal looked at Adjie's face on the side. Isal shocked that the bodyguard shot Adjie in the chest, Adjie fell and died. Isal held the gunshot wound in Adjie's chest. Isal's hands were covered in blood. When Adjie is dying, he said to Isal.

"Adjie: I told you not to accept Jarot's offer. Run Isal, run as far as possible into the forest and never look back."

Adjie breathed his last in Isal's lap. Isal cried and regretted her decision. Isal took the gun that was on his waist and tried to shoot Jarot. But the guns were sabotaged by Jarot's bodyguard. Jarot's bodyguard gave the two of them a gun that had not worked from the beginning of the trip. Jarot told Isal to put the gun down. Jarot pointed the gun at Isal's head. Jarot asked Isal to follow him into the interior of the forest. Isal, Jarot, and his bodyguard walked into the forest near the harbor. Isal asked why Jarot was setting us up. 

Jarot replied that Adjie and Isal had caused chaos in the city due to the robbery two weeks ago. Adjie and Isal's fugitive status threatens Jarot's illicit business. Jarot can't hire the two of them anymore. An emotional Isal blames Jarot because Jarot told them to commit the robbery. Jarot did not accept Isal's statement. Jarot shot Isal in the right leg. Isal is in pain. When they reached the interior of the forest, Jarot told Isal to stop and hit him on the head with a pistol grip. Isal fell down in pain. As he fell, Isal took an ashes from the ground in his hand. Jarot told Isal.

Jarot: "This is the end of your life little boy. This is what happens when you're curious and always do what people say."

Isal, who heard Jarot's words, laughed. Jarot is confused as to why he is laughing. Isal faced Jarot and said

Isal: "This will indeed be the end of my life, but you will die with me."

Isal threw the clod of dirt at Jarot's face and hit him in the eye. Jarot is in pain from Isal's actions and dropped his gun. Isal took Jarot's gun and shot Jarot in the head. Jarot's bodyguard spontaneously fired at Isal. Isal shot at Jarot's bodyguards. Isal managed to shoot one of the bodyguards in the head. However, the other bodyguard shot Isal in the chest twice. Isal, who was initially aware, shot the bodyguard in the head. The two bodyguards fell dead.
