If I Were a Bird

I could be here one day and gone the next

We humans are far more complex

If and when I do take a prolonged text

I will gather all the things needed to make a nest

Being human is not all that bad

It just seems there is a lot more things that

make me sad or mad

There are things that make me glad

Maybe wanting to be a bird is the newest fad

Birds sing the prettiest song

But can they right their wrongs
