"This number includes firearms that citizens handed in and those that were seized during raids," Aceh Police chief Insp. Gen. Iskandar Hasan said on Tuesday. Iskandar said his office is working with local authorities in order to uncover any further individuals still holding illegal arms."If they hand these weapons over out of conscience, they will be free from legal prosecution," Iskandar said.
Based on that news, I believe, this was part of lies that have handed by ex combatant during process of surrender of weapons according to MoU Helsinki. It was written and confirmed, that GAM should handed over their 840 weapons to the Aceh monitoring Mission (AMM). BUT, it was also loud and clear that GAM has more than that amount. It may be just a rumor or gossip, but the recent tragedies of humanity in Aceh during 2005-2012 have proven the fact. And ironically that lies have been convinced by Indonesian delegation as a goodwill from GAM. what a stupid ass...:)
Let's see and watch carefully, what have been done lately by that foolish policy, a dozen were died, killed by an unknown person, and tens were injured and suffer from traumatic event during the years.
This should be stopped immediately, the peace process in Aceh should be implemented and become a common commitment of all Aceh people. On the other hand, Indonesian government with its security aparatus need bond to bond and swift actions to resolve those matters firmly, before there are any other victims would be fallen. They should..and we need it.
