Introduction

Gundala was released in 2019 produced by  bumi langit Studios, and directed by Joko Anwar. This is being the best movie that I ever had watched which produce by Indonesian. This movie tell about local a superhero who needed by people to build justice in society. They did the editing beautifully and it gives more impressing when I watch it for the firs time. Even this movie finished by Indonesian 's production, this movie packs so perfect and enjoy this movie well. This movie very interesting because tell real story in society that serve light and easy to accept.

Rating

This movie I give high rating 9 score from 10 because this movie has amazing components such as:cinematography, music and sound, acting, and moral value.

Cinematography

This movie got appreciation in Festival Film Indonesia as the best cinematography. So, no doubt this movie has beatiful that spoon-feed our eye. This movie is tasted real and make viewers know the condition  in the movie.

All on screen visual element in this movie very amazing, including lighting, framing, composition, camera motion, camera angles, film selection, lens choices, depth of field,zoom, focus, colour, exposure, and filtration.

When in factory lighting in light in frame make viewers get understand the situation and atmosphere. Also in dark lighting appropriate with the mistery and scary atmosphere. The camera angles give more information and how beautiful in cinematography ever I watch.

Genre

This movie is drama and fiction. So, we can see about super power and magic in this movie. Specially the main character with his superpower "thunder".

Music and Sound

This movie gets appeciation in Festifal Film Indonesia as the best "organize sound" 2019. We can get great interesting music and sound. The sound sometimes make viewer strain and be afraid add give strong taste the atmoshere.

Acting

The acting in this movie had done by the best actor and actress in Indonesia and Malaysia. So, we don't need to doubt if this movie very real related in life.

• Abimana Arya Satya as a main character had successed be a Gundala character, that to be smart, cool, and care with other.
• Bront Palarae as Pengkor, he had successed be a Pengkor who has be smart, duplicity and cunning.
• Tara Basro as Wulan also success portrayed Wulan's character who has be brave and care with other.

Source Material

This movie is made adaptation of the comic Gundala by Harya Suraminata in 1969. Where the comic is telsl about a superhero with local culture Indonesia.

Direction

This movie directed by Joko Anwar, he is agreat director and many movie has his produce like 'Pengabdi Setan". This movie in his hand become cool, modern, interasting and of course able to accept by milenial generation.

Writing Style

This movie use three languages that Indonesia, Javanese and Kawi(ancient Javanese language). From that we know this movie give description about identity culture from Indonesia.

Editing

This movie has great edited. The move from one part to other is smooth so viewers enjoy it. Also, all editing is perfect from beginning until end movie make us difficult to look away.

Setting

. This movie takes in many places such as factory, cemetery, in train, and rooftop. Every place tell strong characteristic story. Because,  this movie is adaptation of comic in 1969 where in that time condition in Indonesia was not stabil from many elements: social, economy, and politic. Maybe the story tells information in past time.

Moral Value

This movie has many moral values. In Social, we have to care with other and don't be a traitor. In politic, Parliament have to give justice with all people and don't corruptly. In economy, Give salary appropriate with hard and big work of the employee.

Conclusion

This movie very educates and entertains, so you can get two profits in one way. This movie also perfect in all element movie so you will enjoy and never get loss.
